“Great place to relax”

A decent hotel that is genuinely a 4*. The swimming pool and area arond it is huge with plenty of sunbeds. The only down side of that part of the hotel is the "animation" team. For some reason the hotel employ a huge team of them to constantly harrass you to join in with activities. The beach is tricky to get to via a small rock scramble and to be honest it isn't worth the effort...narrow and dirty! The food is always a buffet but there is plenty of choice and variety. Staff were friendly, the hotel was always spotless. There is very little within walking distance other than hotels but the centre of Hammamet is only 5 mins in a cab. Overall this is a really nice hotel, well maintained and great to relax in.

“A lovely break!”

I positioned myself to read my books halfway between pool and restaurant - both were excellent! The staff were helpful and friendly and the buffet food very good, with always a choice between "International" fare and local specialities. I tended to go for the Tunisian dishes and I ate very well!

“Not impressed”

Typical Med-style/costa resort. Small basic rooms, but catering for the majority of French guests. Sorry, French chain-smoking guests. If you don't mind this, then it's fine ... otherwise be prepared for smoking everywhere inside the hotel. If around the food wasn't bad enough, in the bar/entertainment area in the evening, it was difficult to see more than 10ft in front of you through the smoke!! Disappointed to see the children of these families subjected to this.

“review”

the hotel was very nice and the staff were very pleasent they didnt mind the children's noise and playing around the lobby .the breakfast & dinner bufate was good ,the hotel lay out was perfect near the beach with nice swimming pools for kids and adults. the only reservation i hade was the balcony of the rooms in the garden side were infested by ants from the plants and the grass at the back and the staff were very helpfull as they sprayed immediatly when requested by that didnt help that much.i would deffinatly stay there again ( sea view room).

“Don't expect too much”

First impression of the hotel was - where are we?? But once you get your bearings you realise it's not that far from the Medina (5 diner taxi fare). The hotel itself is quite nice but not a 4* as we know it however compared to other people we met staying elsewhere - it seemed like we chose a better hotel. Room amenities are basic, ie. towels etc but you are hardly there so doesn't matter. Only one english TV channel (CNN) and everybody at the hotel speaks French - recommend brushing up on it as they speak very basic english.

Traveller's tip
Remember to tip for everything as you will get good service, don't tip - no service! Brush up on your french - you will be treated better!

“Great horse riding”

Hotel was very satisfactory for the money.The horse riding was fab.The people were very friendly and helpful.Would go back again.

“Hotel le Sultan situato a 3km dal centro di Hmmamet”

la nostra permanenza in questo hotel è stata semplicemente perfetta ,la struttura è di ottima qualità e ben conservata i servizi sono impeccabili i ristoranti offrono tutto quello che uno può chiedere ,il personale di servizio gentilissimo e sempre al vostro servizio se richisto ,che dire io ci ritonero' di sicuro .

L'HOTEL "LE SULTAN" DI HAMMAMET è UN PARADISO, MOLTO BEN CURATO ED IL PERSONALE è GENTILE ED EDUCATO ;) PER NOI ITALIANA L'UNICA NOTA STONATA DERIVA DAL CIBO, NN TROVERETE NULLA DI PARTICOLARE DELLA NOSTRA CUCINA, MA PER QUANTO RIGUARDA I DESSERT SONO DAVVERO SQUISITI . . . IO E LA MIA RAGAZZA CMQ NN ABBIAMO MAI AVUTO PROBLEMI DI STOMACO, E L'AMBIENTE è RAFFINATO E CORDIALE, SI AFFACCIA DIRETTAMENTE SUL MARE E L'ATMOSFERA DI SERA è MOLTO ROMANTICA, L'IDEALE PER CHI VUOLE PASSARE UNA SETTIMANA DI RELAX, LONTANO DAI RUMORI DELLA CITTA' E DELLA SOLITA VITA QUOTIDIANA .

“Le sultan Hammamet”

Chambre agréable avec vue mer Très belle piscine, restauration en terrasse avec vue mer. Hall d'entrée et salon agréable Un très bon 2 étoiles en europe. Hotel très excentré par rapport au centre ville avec des abords très sales. Boissons au tarif européen Personnel peu accueillant
