I found the room cleanliness to be lacking. There were hairs on the bathroom sink, in the tub and on the sheets. The hotel was also extremely loud. It felt like we didn’t even have our door closed. We could hear everyone who walked by- full conversations clear as day

This had a great view of the lake and close to the bus terminal with various of amenities outside that are walkable. Parking was $15/night and gets full if you check in late because it is next to the Pearl Hotel and Port House, which has evening events. Space will be limited and you will need to move parking later once all those people leave. We did not have a do not disturb sign and the front desk did not have one available to us until the next day. The duvet covers had rips on them and came off the duvet completely. The fridge did not seem to work and could not change the temperature to a colder setting. There were stains on the carpet. The tub was clogged and water did not drain properly. Overall it was an okay stay downtown. The breakfast buffet was decent. The staff were friendly.

We LOVED the proximity to the water!!! The Brent pier was a beautiful night walk!!! We LOVED seeing the big lakers as we ate dinner at the attached restaurant!! The staff were so kind, friendly, and happy!! And the hotel smelled wonderful!!! We will be back, for sure!!

We liked the waterfront & convenient for walking & plenty restaurants. We didn’t like that are room smelled & animal hairs on our bedding & food crumbs on the rug. When pulling down the blind there was claw scratches all on the bottom. We said we had no pets, they shouldn’t put guest in rooms that had pets & the cleaning poor.

I travelled from Ottawa and got in rather late (around 1am). I asked the front desk for a late checkout and he said 12pm would be ok. The cleaner knocked once and walked in the room at 9am! I told her we would be there until 12, and she came back again at 10:58 to ask if we were still in the room. The bathroom walls still had dirt that could be wiped off, the area around the toilet was not cleaned properly and the mirror was also not clean. The location is great and the view is beautiful but the fact of being rushed was unpleasant and the cleanliness could definitely be improved.

Stayed at this property to view the eclipse from the lakefront pier and park right at the back of the property. Could not have been more convenient and senic. Stayed two nights with grandkids visiting in the afternoon. The swam in the indoor pool and worked out in the gym. Could not have been a better venue for family. Area is highly walkable with great restaurants and shops around.

This was our second time at this hotel and it was another great stay. Staff was great, room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The pool was nice too and the water was warm. We were here to view the solar eclipse and being right beside Spencer Smith Park and having a view of the waterfront, as well as bring within walking distance of places to eat, a great ice cream place, shops and transportation (the bus stop is across the street) is super convenient. We love coming here and look forward to our next stay. And a special mention to the front desk staff (morning & night shift workers) and the housekeeping staff for being so awesome, pleasant and accommodating...we appreciate it.

This is a very clean property with kind staff. The furnishings, and finishings are a bit run down and of poor quality. Sound travels through the walls easily. Unfortunately our room rate was way too high when compared to the quality of the hotel room (almost $300, for a $130 room). This was due to a busy solar eclipse day.

Stayed one night for a wedding close by. Staff was polite but when I inquired about a late check-out, I was giving the run around. Finally, the following morning after 2 phone calls, I was told we could check-out an hour later. The room was nice, but the mattress was AWFUL and full of springs. Definitely need an update. The room was full of light all night also because of the uplighting under our window and the lack of blackout drapes. Our bathroom needed a deep clean as there was dried throw-up on the shower curtain and the bottom corner of the tub. There was also a used facecloth on the shower curtain rod that wasn't ours. For the money, I'd at least expect a clean room. I'd stay at the Pearl next time for the extra money.

It’s Awful! It has bedbug in the bed of room 214 in second floor ! I record a video and take pictures! The bathtub had problem and water stock there with hairs! Too bad! I ask to speak with manager but reception told that manager is not here and also not here for tomorrow! It’s the worst experience!

All in all, my stay was enjoyable. The breakfast was good, walking distance to Performing Art Centre, and a nice view of the lake and boardwalk. The pool and Gym are quite small. Room service is offered so you’ll be sure to get fresh towels. The room was spacious and the beds were quite comfortable. It was noisy during my stay but this was due to an event. Restaurant is great and on weekends, there is a night club.
