Family trip to Toronto area

Posted 18-Aug-2014
Pros: Close to Toronto, Milton, Hamilton but not right in mass confusion of the big city.
Location: Everything was close but from shopping to restaurants to clinics. Also very easy access to the main highways.
After a long trip from Moncton New Brunswick and 2 hours of Toronto traffic the Best Western Burlington was an oasis for us. The front desk staff were very pleasant and look after our needs. We had two rooms booked and found that my father would need a room for mobility issues. The hotel was able to provide one the next day and the housekeeping staff went out of their way to make the transition as smooth as possible. The complimentary breakfast was above average. I had a minor issue with the bathroom vent fan and informed the front desk. The issue was corrected within the hour. the pool and whirlpool were great for relaxing after the days activities. Very pleased with our 4 day stay.

Convenient for Town of Burlington

Posted 08-Aug-2014
Pros: All I needed; there is an indoor pool for those with kids or who want it (I didn't).
The Best Western provided all I needed: a clean, comfortable room close to the Queensway and Brant Street.

Adequate facility.

Based on other similar hotels this Best Western was priced appropriately. The included breakfast did not have as many options as most of the other hotels we visited recently. The staff were not very warm and friendly, but appropriately professional and helpful. We visited the hotel because we had to be in Burlington for two nights. The first room we were sent to was heavy with a strong smokey odour. The front desk staff immediately helped us by giving us another room which was fine.

Cons: Not very clean place, phone in our room didn't work, the worst pillows, etc. Pros: Staff was very nice.

visiting family

Posted 31-Jul-2014
Pros: Very friendly reception area staff, and a reasonable breakfast. Ideal location for our needs
Cons: Bed making skills.
Location: a good selection of eating places within walking distance
We selected Best Western for a 2 night stay whilst visiting family in the vicinity. The room rate was at the higher end of facilities in our search area and the overall experience did not live up to our expectations. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean but cramped - there was no where comfortable to sit and relax, Bed making was sloppy - pleasing to the eye but when turned down the bottom sheet still retained the creases for our previous nights slumber

Close to the venue of 25th Anniversary party

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Not a thing.
Location: Jacob Brant Museum and Ireland Museum not open on Saturday which was too bad. Beach isn't that far away and cab company was fantastic and fast
Staff was very helpful, always smiling, very nice people. Accommodating, called cab for us, always acknowledged us as we passed the desk with a smile and greeting. Very clean room, TV easy to operate, Air Conditioning worked wonderfully well in a very hot, humid weekend. Carts available to take bags and suitcases to the room, ELEVATORS! BONUS! Could see car from window of room.
