“One of the best hotels I've stayed at”

If you need a place to stay in central Hamburg, look no further. This hotel is superb and very reasonably priced! You won't be disappointed.

“Loved Hamburg!”

Our stay started amazingly, arriving in our hotel room on the 26th floor just as the Friday night fireworks started! Couldnt have been a better beginning. The hotel is a short walk to the Alster area, with all its fantastic surrounding shopping streets. It is located next to a station (but not seedy) which has a few cafe's if you need a snack before heading off (or on your way home). Its situated in a park. Looks conferencey due to size but is really nice. Previous comments noted renovation works - they are all completed so dont let those reviews change your mind. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Can book a late check-out on Sunday for 3pm at no extra cost - very useful after partying the night away. Taxis are cheap (coming from London). Definitely recommend this hotel!

“Fantastic Stay....”

We only got to this Hotel by accident as our usual place we stay in in Hamburg was fully booked (as was most everything since it was "Hafen Geburtstag" (harbour birthday celebration). The hotel impressed us allready at our late night checkin, the staff was friendly, the room spacious and the view from the 27th floor breathtaking. The hotel itself seems failry new and is very stylishly designed. The location in the center of the city next to a huge park makes it easy to reach all major sights by foot... All in all a great place to stay and well recommended.

“Great Location”

We stayed at the Radisson Blu for my friend's hen weekend and the hotel was great! Location was very central and is next to a train station so good transport links. The pool and spa wasn't open as the hotel is being refurbished but everything else was clean and nice. Hamburg is a great place for a party and a hen weekend and having a nice hotel to come back to to recover was a god send!

“Excellent location, very comfortable modern hotel”

The hotel is really close to 2 train stations, we got a train from the airport to Stephansplatz station and walked about 5 mins through lovely gardens to reach the hotel. Tube network is very realiable and a day ticket can be bought for 5.5 euro. Not many restaurants in the immediate area but these can easily be reached via the tube. Hotel is very comfortable, we were on the 12th floor and had lovely views. The only gripe I had was that they were not great at replacing tea bags, loo roll etc! But they did fix us room service at 2 a.m when we got in drunk one night fair play!! Lots to do in Hamburg, trips on the Elbe and city bus tours from the fishmarket area cost us 22 euro for both which was great. Trip on the Alster to see the canals was lovely. Reeperbahn was interesting (didn't go there at night though), there is a great Beatles museum at Beatles place. Would recommend the hotel and city to anyone

“Hope to use this hotel again, and prehaps others of the chain, in other countries, h”

The hotel was very good, but I would say that I slipped and fell on the shower room floor, after getting out of the shower, so I think non slip flooring would be much better , apart from that all ok

“Towering above all else.”

An excellent stay. The hotel was comfortable and ideally situated for getting about, close to both mainline and underground stations, and only a short walk to the city centre or a couple of stops on the underground. The staff were extremely helpful and our room was efficiently serviced even when we didn't get out of bed until 6p.m. If I return to Hamburg I won't bother looking for anywhere else to stay. Not the prettiest of locations but I would confidently recommend it to anyone.

“Excellent hotel and location”

The hotel staff were excellent and very fluent in English. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was very comfortable and clean. The beds were excellent. The location is very close to a major station: Dammtor. It is also near to the Botanic Gardens. Breakfast was also extremely good. Definitely recommend this hotel.

“Best Hotel at a Friendly Price... lots of surprise of enjoyments”

Recently renovated rooms with colorful curtains and carpets, just give me the feeling of being refreshed at the first glance. Very friendly reception and helpful concierge. I was offered a 24th floor room with huge window facing the most beautiful lakes! Both of daytime and at night, I just find hard to close the curtain since it is just so beautiful to look out from the window. There were lovely moons for the two nights I stayed and it was very special to sleep with moon, clear sky and the peaceful lakes. Very convenient if you visit the University and walking distance to many places of interests. Highly recommended hotel!

“Hamburg Radisson”

This is an excellent hotel, where the staff are very polite and helpful. The location was ideal for our visit to the conference centre, it does have a railway station outside and is only a short walk to pubs / restuarants.
