“Will definitely go back!”

Hotel Auwirt was a great place to stay during our trip to Salzburg. You can take a bus that stops very near to the hotel into Salzburg and have no worries about parking your car. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the dinner meals we ate there were delicious. Best of all, it is a family run business and they are a delightful family. Very hospitable and helpful!

Area recommendations
We loved the Sound of Music tour and the salt mine was definitely a great thing to see! Next time, we'd want to see The Eagle's Nest, also.
Must see
The salt mine is definitely a must-see.
Dining
The goulash soup at the Hotel auwirt was delicious!
