"It was a beautiful hotel and right on the beach."
Location was not brilliant as hotel was located next to a very busy road. Not many places near by as mostly closed due to the end of season or closed as they have gone bust. We were also disappointed with our second week as they changed the eating arrangements. Normally would have 2 restaurants to deal with both hotels, but in the second week, we all had to eat in one restaurant, which became very busy and noisy, so this did put us off. I also want to pay tribute to the bar staff who work so hard and are very professional and take pride in their job.

It is a nicely maintained, quiet hotel and ideal for families. We stayed in an apartment for 4 and it was lovely. All have balconies and all look over the sea so there is no overlooking other guests balconies. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You definitely need a car to get anywhere although there is one beach close by which is great for kids. One point though. We did not see or hear one English person there for the whole week. Mainly Romanian, Albanian and Greek. All very civilized though.
The hotel is isolated with no other hotels or amenities close by, so if you are looking for a holiday just lazing around the pool or beach, then this is a good place. The nearest town is about 12/15 minutes away by taxi (16 Euros). I had asked about internet access and was informed there was modem access in the room. There is no internet access from any room, although there is an 'Internet Corner', however this does not open until 18:00 local time. Apart from that, the food is good/freshly made, varied enough for a weeks stay. The pools and lawn well kept. Looking around it looks as if the different accomdation blocks were built at different times and the earlier ones could do with a little updating. Overal though a nice hotel/complex.
The location of the hotel is excellent, with beautiful gardens and an Olympic pool before getting to the sand beach. In pre-season, as we were, the beach was not set up. There were companion hotels right next door, which were supposed to be available to us, but extra charges applied. The staff was very friendly in providing tourist information and driving directions. Overall, this was an excellent value.

This is a beautiful very small and very quiet fishing village/port. The hotel is small, seems to be family run. It is right on the edge of the harbour/beach. The staff are very friendly. The room was very clean. The only two small issues were that the shower wasn't amazing (some leaks and the shower head was too low, I am 6ft 4, but it still worked fine) and the balcony we had didn't face the sea. Not expensive, good value overall. It is about 90mins drive from Thessaloniki airport and easy to find.
I recommend to hire a car and go exploring - there are at least 80 beaches on Sithonia. We really liked a beach called Zografos which is in a small cove with cliffs each side, it is about 15mins drive south along the coast road from the hotel.
Very nice accommodation and housekeeping were very thorough every day. Good breakfasts and we had a couple of nice evening meals in the restaurant as well. The pool area is really nice. Petrino Suites is a 30 minute walk from Afitos which is a nice little village full of bars and restaurants with great food. We used their partner hotel, White Suites, when we wanted to go to the beach. What made the holiday really great though was the people. All the staff at Petrino Suites were so friendly and attentive. We could not have asked for better service. Also the people in Afitos were unfailingly polite and friendly which made going there each day a really pleasurable experience.
Petrino Suites is a great place for a relaxing holiday in the Greek sun.

Party animals head to Kalithea beach for entertainment, romantic travelers to Karydi, and families to Sarti beach.
