“Awesome location combined with Great Service!”

“The perfect place for anyone!”

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay in Halifax. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a one bedroom suite that was large and beautiful with very comfortable beds. It had a large high end kitchen that would allow you to stay for a very long time. It was great!! Breakfast was included in the room and it was fairly good, the day we were there the toasters were broken and we got the feeling that one overworked woman was doing it all for a full room of people, but we would easily recommend this new and well situated hotel in the heart of Halifax.

Area recommendations

I would recommend the downtown area. It has lots of restaurants and entertainment areas to see and they are in easy walking distance of many hotels in halifax.

“Great Hotel”

I found this to be a lovely hotel in a convenient location in downtown Halifax. Restaurants, bars and shops all in walking distance. Only issue is that the area outside can get really loud on Friday and Saturday nights. I was on the 3rd floor and the noise woke me up at 3am. Something to consider if you are a light sleeper however I would stay there again.

“Great value”

We booked this hotel because it was the best price and we didn't care much about added features. When we checked in we were very pleasantly surprised at the condition of the hotel. It appears to have been recently renovated and the room was very spacious and well appointed. Service upon check-in and -out was excellent and very friendly. They have very reasonably priced heated parking in the basement of the building. Breakfast buffet offered pretty good selection and it was nice that it was not just a typical cold continental breakfast, they offer some hot items as well. One complaint: one of the girls I was staying with has allergies so in the morning after the first night I left a note requesting the feather pillows be replaced with synthetic. Well, when we returned we had more feather pillows than we started with! We managed but it was annoying. All in all though it was a very good stay and I find it hard to understand why anyone stays anywhere else, when this place is so nice and inexpensive.

“Had a great stay”

The only thing I would have liked was more ice in the room. it has an ice maker in the fridge but that is quite slow. i asked a gentleman who worked there to bring more ice to our room but he never showed up with any. however, I never called the front desk to ask for any so I really can't complain as I should have mentioned that i was waiting and perhaps they would have taken care of it for me. also the roof deck is closed too early. we would have like to go out after dark but they close it at 7. but the breakfast was fabulous and the room was fantastic. we were pleased with out stay

The waterfront was so nice and it was during the Buskers so we took part in a lot of activities there

“Parking Problems”

The only problem I found was the parking garage, bigger cars are hard to park, the spaces are small & impossible to park, but they found me a spot that I was able to park in.

“Looking Forward to When we can Return again!”

The room was so beautiful and more than I ever expected. The staff were very polite & courteous also. You were made to feel comforable and at home. I'd go back again for sure. Having internet was a great thing for us so we could keep in touch with our family so they'd know where we were. I didn't have a laptop to take advantage of room connection but used the computer in the lobby. We were very happy with everything. Go back again anytime!
