“In an ideal location”

Four Points by Sheraton in Halifax is located in an ideal position as it is an easy walk to the Harbourside Walk & all the downtown attractions. The hotel is modern & comfortable with efficient (although not particularly friendly) staff. Just 2 small grumbles - the restaurant, which is not actually in the hotel, is not clearly signposted so not easy to find and the fact you can park outside where there are 'No Parking' signs whilst you check into the hotel is not apparent.

wonderful hotel, perfect location. very comfy beds, spacious room, fridge and pantry in the lobby were very handy. highly recommend it to anyone visit Halifax.

“Nice Place”

This hotel is very convenient to the major attractions in Halifax. It is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, museums, and waterfront. The people were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and attractive.

“friendly staffs”

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We were there for the buskers and the hotel was walking distance to waterfront. The next day, they let us leave our car in the parking area, no extra charge, to go see the buskers. The only downfall is, there is no parking space to go register. You have to park on the side of the street. We had to go around the block a few times before we could find a parking space. Other than that the hotel was great.

First, I love to travel to Halifax and spend time near the waterfront. This was my first stay at the Sheraton and it was great. The location of the hotel is fantastic, since it is within walking distance to shops, cafes, resturants, pubs, museums, Pier 21, Historic Properties, etc. In fact, it is located only two blocks from the waterfront. The staff was extremely friendly while the room was exceptionally quiet and clean. The hotel has an underground garage and packing was easy. I definitely plan to return!

A lovely new hotel with access to dining, entertainment and the waterfront. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. Very conscientious about scheduling cleaning when acceptable for us.

This hotel is only steps away from the waterfront. Looking around I would only use this hotel if I am fortunate enough to go back. The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and responded to everything we asked for. I could not ask for more. The beds are heavenly.

If you want a decent hotel that is convenient, but don't want an opulent lobby, I would recommend this hotel to you. I always use it when in Halifax, both for business and pleasure. It has been smoke free since construction. No lingering odors. The rooms are high quality, with those super comfortable Sheraton beds, well up to international standard, and free internet in the room. Staff friendly and efficient. Parking is indoors - accessed directly from lobby, and it is attached to a shopping mall with food court - inexpensive food near at hand, no need to go outside. On top of all that, it is right downtown. You can walk to many of the the business and government offices, and it is a short walk from the waterfront, the Maritime Museum, casino etc. By the way,I am told that on 9/11 they opened the hotel free of charge to travelers stranded at the airport. This sounds like a paid ad, but it isn't I travel a lot, and stay in many expensive hotels, but this one I like. Nice people Great unpretentious hotel .
