VHS movies and CD player available. Shared refrigerator with refreshments provided. Breakfast included. Will attempt to accommodate special dietary needs. Please advise at time of reservation. Property is smoke-free and scent-free. For medical reasons, guests must not wear perfume or cologne during stay. Unscented soap, shampoo, conditioner, and skin lotion provided. “Great people running a very good B&B.”
This is a friendly and comfortable place, that is quite handy to some wonderful Halifax attractions. You feel welcome, and they care for and about you. We recommend it highly.
“Wonderful Place to Stay”
English Garden was a fantastic place to stay. The bed was very comfortable. The room and ensuite were VERY clean. It was so quite and relaxing. There were nice robes waiting for us. The breakfast was delicious. The best blueberry muffins I have ever eaten, by far. And there was delicious fresh fruit to great us every morning. Definitely a recommended place to stay. The only drawback was that it wasn't within walking distance of Downtown Halifax. But if you don't mind a short drive, it's the place to be for sure.
