We stayed two nights at this hotel and left very satisfied with everything. The front desk clerk was very informative and answered our questions thoroughly. She gave us a list of restaurants in the area and recommended one in particular that we did visit and was very happy with. The room was in excellent condition and very clean. It was a quiet, comfortable place to lodge for the two nights we stayed. Our visit was to see the Antietam National Battlefield in nearby Sharpsburg.
Very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to all of the attractions we wanted to visit (Gettysburg, Antietam, Harpers Ferry and the Shenandoah Valley. I can't remember the last time that I stayed in a hotel for $59.00. Incredible value. If I ever back in the area, this is where I will stay. I have never written a review for a hotel before, but this one deserves a great review.
Was greeted with a friendly attendant who already had my key card ready for a quick check-in. The room itself was kept well and had adequate lighting. The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot. Overall a good experience and plan on stopping through again. If I had to complain about anything the WiFi could be better.
The hotel was clean and completely non-smoking with easy and plentiful parking. The staff was friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and recommending a great place for dinner. Our room was clean and neat and was kept that way by the cleaning staff over our two night stay. The complimentary breakfast was simple but well prepared, with make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage and home fries, as well as fresh fruit, various breads and muffins, juices and coffee. It saved us time and money in the morning. The drive to Gettysburg was easy and direct and took about 45 minutes, making the savings in cost of lodging in hotels in Gettysburg (two or three times the cost of our hotel) more than worth the short drive. All in all a great experience. Highly recommended.
We stayed in a 1bd room suite with my wife and kids 4, 7, 9 years old. It was convenient to White Tail ski resort ~20 minutes away. The kids stayed in the living area and we stayed in the Bedroom. It worked well. Lots of restaurants close by and walkable just not as pleasant as a main street would be. My only complaint was the complimentary breakfast: the weekends offered a nice hot breakfast including: sausage, scrambled eggs with cheese, potatoes, grits, belgian waffles, juice, warm scones, not near as good, however, on the weekdays!
