“Great place to stay close to Haarlem”

Convinient on bus route 300, 10 minutes from the city center. Haarlem is a great alternative to Amsterdam, yet very close by.

“It was once upon a time four star but now no way!”

Hotel, parking, location by car all convenient. Romms are very very old. I can say dirty as well. Clean sheets but I can not tell the same for bad covers. Broken shower. For what you pay you get but do not expect four star quality at all.

“Great value”

I searched for a hotel in Amsterdam for New Year's Eve but either found 3 day minimum reservation requirements or outlandish prices. I couldn't believe the value of Van der Valk Hotel which was just a 15 minute train ride from Central Amsterdam. Luxurious accomodations, incredible buffet breakfast and very helpful front desk personnel. I would definitely go back!

Haarlem was lovely; wish I had had more time to explore it.

“centre ville très accessible par le bus.”

Rien à dire au sujet du confort. Le seul défaut que nous ayons repéré est que la chambre sentait fortement le tabac alors que nous avions demandé une chambre non-fumeur. Le deuxième inconvénient à connaitre est que le parking n'est pas surveillé.

Area recommendations
Amsterdam est incontournable mais il y a aussi la côte et les villages des pêcheurs. D'un point de vue général, c'est un très bel endroit.

“Hotel Haarlem Zuid liegt eingebettet in Hauptverkehrsstrassen”

Dafür, das dieses Hotel eingebettet in Hauptverkehrsstrassen ist, war es in unserem Zimmer sehr ruhig. Allerdings hat man jedes Wort vom Nachbarn mitgekriegt. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Aus dem festmontiertem Duschkopf kam nur spärlich Wasser. Am Hotel waren Bauarbeiten, die aber erst los gingen, als wir abgefahren sind. Der Service auf der großen + kleinen Terrasse könnte verbessert werden. Der Kellner kam nur selten und irgendwann mußte man sich die Getränke selbst an der Bar holen. Für den 1. Hundespaziergang gab es nur den großen (kostenlosen) Parkplatz, was aber OK war.

“Eine zufriedenstellende Unterkunft in Haarlem”

Ich kann dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Das Zimmer war sauber und sehr ordentlich; das Personal äußerst nett, es sprachen alle Deutsch. Das Stadtzentrum ist eine Bushaltestelle entfernt; auch der Strand, sowie Amsterdam sind mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln schnell und einfach zu erreichen. Das Frühstück kann ich leider nicht bewerten, da wir ohne dieses gebucht haben. Ansonsten ist nichts negatives zu erwähnen.

Eine Bushaltestelle ist in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels.
Shopping
Im Stadtzentrum Haarlems kann man gut einkaufen; in Amsterdam macht Shopping noch mehr Spaß.
Dining
Es gibt im Stadtzentrum sehr gute Möglichkeiten, um Essen zu gehen.
Outdoors or beach
Bloemendal und Zandvoort bieten einen schönen, sauberen Sandstrand; innerhalb von 20-30 Min. mit dem Bus zu erreichen.
