“Nice modest hotel”
The hotel is very well located and has a very nice athmosphere as it is an old colonial house with historical value, adapted for hotel use. The inside patios are beautiful. The restaurant is very good; the staff is very friendly and accomodating. There was excellent marimba live music frequently and even a folk show every evening. The rooms are not particularly comfortable. We sayed in two different ones and neither had usable windows for natural light. Only one side of bed had a lamp, shower was uncomfortable. However, the overall experience is good in terms of cost-benefit. For purposes of experiencing a colonial taste of Antigua, good eat and reasonable pricing, this is a very good option.
