“We loved it”

It was great. Beautiful, good service, great facilities in a gorgeous city. Regarding room service, we loved the nutella crepes. In case you are driving, take this into account: the only thing that is really annoying is to go to reception to get the parking ticket signed and then pay Q.5. each time one leaves the parking lot.

“NICE AND MODERN HOTEL IN ANTIGUA”

A very nice new hotel. We enjoyed very much the tropical gardens and the jacuzzi. The staff were very helpful. But we did not like that they charge 10 dollars for the internet wi-fi for each 24 hours.

“Mimosas upon check-in !!!”

Need I say more ?!? But just in case you need more .... this hotel turns its nose up at those mundane toilet paper 'triangles' and instead guests are treated to beautiful origami fans. So beautiful you almost hate to use them. The rooms were gorgeous, the bathrooms were large & bright and hotel grounds were beautiful. Largest hot tub I've ever seen (though come to think of it, the hot tub at the Hotel Aititlan was quite oversized as well -- a Guatemalan thing?). I highly recommend this hotel; but take a walk over to the Santa Domingo to see the ruins.

The charm and peacefullness of the hotel and it's staff just blew me away.Imaging being greated with a mimosa on arrival ! aan real orange juice not concentrated anything ! Thje bathroom ,though inside had the feel of an outdoor bathroom the high skylight celing ,love it .a must see

“Paradise awaits”

The Camino Real was even more beautiful that the pictures show. We were in awe at the lovely setting and the exceptional service that was there. It is a little piece of paradise tucked inside this quaint city. We were told by some friends to stay at another hotel (Santo Domingo) but it was booked up, and we are so glad it was, because we found this gem and were thrilled when we arrived. This is where we will stay next time we are in Antigua, without a doubt.

“Excelente weekend”

Went with my wife for the weekend and were surprised at the beautiful hotel, nicely decorated, clean, luxurious. The most important thing was the friendly people at reception, restaurant and buttons

We always stay at the hotel Santo Domingo but lately their prices have been crazy! Hotel Camino Real is a very good alternative for a much better price. The hotel is new and the rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. There is a big Jacuzzi pool in one of the patios.As far as I know there is no swimming pool. We had a standard room and we went to see the junior suit. I did not think it was worth the upgrade because the standard room is very nice. The junior suite has two levels; the bedroom and bathroom upstairs and the sitting area downstairs. There is no bath in either one of them. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so I cant comment on that.

Most comfortable beds ever!!! Very nice grounds. Would have liked to stay there longer.
