MY WIFE AND I stay at this hotel regularly and on this visit we got the hardest bed on earth. When making reservations the room details said INCLUDES BREAKFAST. When finalising the reservation (after paying on line) the room details said BREAKFAST FOR ONE. Somewhat interesting room reservation for TWO, breakfast for ONE? Not a big deal but still a deceptive practice. Anyway the breakfast has not improved in the three years we have stayed there so next time we will just book a room WITHOUT breakfast! ;-)

The service culture needs improvement. This property is enjoying its favourable rating all thanks to its location. I had dined at It’s Chinese restaurant on the second floor. One of the restaurant managers insisted I take up the set meal which I turned down. She made clear her unhappiness for reasons unknown to me. Although I ordered my soup and dish, I can’t help but to feel ‘punished’ when they served me my rice only after I finished my meal. I was later told that the restaurant operator is an external vendor but that does not recuse the hotel management from providing an overall experience and comfort for its guests.I rewarded myself with meals at nearby restaurants and I was not let down.

Hong Kong Daoxiang seafood restaurant on the second floor of the hotel, which can bring the authentic Cantonese flavor to the guests. We have conveyed your feedback to the restaurant in time, which will disturb you. In the future, we will strengthen the management of public areas, strive to bring high-quality residential experience to every guest, and look forward to your visit and guidance again!

I advise each guest to take a look at the room before checking in. Some rooms are old, others are new. The breakfast is more Chinese oriented and there is no big assortment for foreigners.

The property is good, clean and welcoming, but, the staff in person if Susan was rude. When we arrived at the hotel, she said in a rude tone..."this is a hotel not a bar" like we were looking for a bar to spend the night. We have to argue with her about payments that were made in advance through Expedia. She requested us to pay additional fees because Expedia didn't give the payment that were debited from our credit card to the hotel. This argument went on for almost an hour, before the manager came in and tried to settle such an embarrassment. This was purely an embarrassment and that led to my dissatisfaction. Instead of spending a month, I spend three days. Hotel Management and rental agencies needs to be cognizant of their services rendered.

Great location but noisy
We are on the purchasing trip and the location is great. It has CTS bus next to the hotel which saves you walking up and down with luggage. The room is comfortable and I we have riverview room which is excellent. It is convenient for us but the renovation work at Hai Zhu Square did give us some issues when you try to cross the road. It is really dusty and noisy.

There is a need to update the rooms. The staff is always helpful. During our stay, construction was on going. Thought the night and day you can here knocking etc. I understood they are upgrading and this is all part of it. Hopefully at our next stay all will be finish. Thanks landmark

The ups and downs of Landmark Hotel
After multiple visits we finally found that the hotel has a decent swimming pool. The TV is terrible - very poor choice of channels. Note currently huge renovation of buildings all around the hotel including paving works. Looks like GZ hotel opposite is being rebuilt or renovated. Good nearby restaurants are hard to find. Nearby International Shopping Link 10 mins walk is fantastic Hotel adjacent to river so walk along river bank is very good experience. Staff try pretty hard and are helpful and courteous.

Hotel is relatively near to subway. Doesn't have anything much nearby. Have to walk or take a train (1 stop away) to Gong Yuan Qian for all the shopping and food.

Terrible breakfast
Had to change business room because very large room but amenities inside not coordinated well. The second room a little better but shower was either hot or cold and no in between. Light in bathroom was a dimmed light, not useful for shaving or makeup. Bed very hard but large. Room cleaned daily. Breakfast on level 39 wasunvaried and not appetising even Asian food. Fruit limited and many days it was stale and should not have been served to guests. Breakfast staff do not have a welcoming manner in fact very stern faces, only one waitress had a smile. Reception staff not friendly faces but many speak better English now and they helped us nicely. There are 2 restraunts one on level one and the other on level 3. Level 2 is always busy and friendly staff but take your translation app with you. There are many close shopping areas and a great seafood restraunt that is also busy.

Excellent location. Underground MRT station is about a 5 minutes walk of the property. Beijing lu is one station away for 2 yuan. There's some construction going on in the neighbourhood but the shops nearby are open for sim cards, snacks, meals, souvenirs. Our business suite was excellent in terms of value and space. Furnishing is dated but well-maintained. Service was on the ball - courteous, helpful. Concierge on the 33rd floor speaks English. View of Canton Tower and the river for breakfast is amazing and makes up for the fairly okay selection. The hotel restaurant on the 3rd floor was very crowded during lunch - service and food quality was compromised. Dinner on the 2nd floor restaurant was much better but the place is old.

The bathroom have a bathtub with curtains that didn't show in pictures, facilities are old and really bad maintenance, the walls and ceiling were full of filtrations and several details different than in pictures and the bed was extremely hard.
