“Best if you like street shopping/Great concierge service”

If you want a more cosmopolitan location then choose the other Holiday Inn in Guangzhou. But if you like street shops then this hotel is perfect. Just at the back of the hotel is a main streetshopping area. Special note on the great concierge service, they know all the places we wanted to visit and they took the time to write in chinese the names of these areas, so we can show them to the taxi drivers. Like the other comments, taxis can be hard to find at certain hours but the concierge will try to find one for you. Rooms are big, clean and nicely furnished. From the airport you can take the Airport Express Bus (approx 17yuan), go down dong fang area then take cab to the hotel (aprx 20yuan). Direct taxi from the airport should be less than a 100 yuan.

the Chan's Family Garden. It is so beautiful and quite. A fantastic way to spend half a day in Guangzhou.

The seafood restaurants in Guangzhou is something one must try. You can pick your favourite seafood live.The prices are reasonable and the taste fantastic.

“A very nice hotel @ a great location”

The room is really big, even bigger than the ones in the states. Well, we've been told that our rooms are upgraded (w/o extra cost). The only thing is the entrance, because of it prime location, so the groud level is all shops. The lobby is at the 4th floor. Just at first I didn't expect that's how it will look like for it's entrance and it has couple steps. Location is nice, very close to food and shopping.

“Fabulous service and very friendly”

Had a great stay. Very comfortable room, extremely friendly staff. Meals were excellent. Couldn't fault the hotel.

Area recommendations

The hotel offered tours in a sedan with only 2 to 4 passengers. Excellent way to sight see and the guide came with us and spoke english.

“Will stay there again if we return to Guangzhou”

Hotel is extremely convenient for shopping. Service is excellent, staff is very helpful and the hotel and room are very clean. Food in the restaurants is good and not expensive The catch is I do speak some mandarin. Staff are not good in English.

“明の時代にタイムスリップ！”

出張で利用しました。アテンドしてくださる方の自宅に近いホテルということで選びました。交通の便は△です。玄関や車寄せがなくてタクシーで行くと、ここ？と心配がよぎりましたがエレベーターで上がると部屋はとても広くてバスルームはシャワーブースつき夜はゆっくりとバスタブにつかりました！窓からのロケーションはありませんがこのホテルのあたりは明時代の景観保護地区？ということでホテル周辺はお買いもの、食事も便利な賑やかなストリートですが少し通りを行きすぎるとタイムスリップしたような景観！連泊して街歩きしたくなる素敵なホテルでした。ひとつ！難点はネットが有料・・・・今回泊まった数か所のホテルで唯一ネットが有料でした。
