“Reasonable Stay in a Big Place”

Stayed at this hotel 3 times in 13 months. Services are reliably good; middle-of-the-pack breakfast buffet with good service staff and outdoor eating option. Guangzhou does not have the prestige of Beijing or the polish of Shanghai--but it's a good hotel stop. Have used laundry service (thumbs up) and repaired shoes here once (great deal). Biggest issue (in Southern China) is smoking and this hotel is no exception. Got the room I wanted, but that didn't mean someone wasn't smoking in the hallway. While convenient for my business purposes, it is not within walking distance of the Pearl River. Still plenty of eating options in this business district. Takes a long time to get downtown from airport--but the airport is well out of the city center. Will use this hotel again.

Area recommendations

If you have time, particularly to entertain your friends/family/clients, take a Pearl River night cruise. Pay the extra for VIP seating up front (with table service). It's beautiful.

“Ideal for Business Trips”

I can safely say, this is the best hotel I have stayed in during my trips to China. The hotel staff were very polite, ideal location equidistant from the Canton Fair and other tourist sites and the hotel room was perfect. Taxi's are easily obtainable from outside the hotel with a Supermarket and Starbucks in very close proximity. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I visited Guangzhou.

Nice clean hotel, at a very good price.

Area recommendations

The Tianhe area is somewhat nice. A large park close by. Not entirely attractive in all areas, but that is Ghougzhou.

“restaurants”

Mooi hotel op goede locatie. Wij hebben in 2 van de 3 aanwezige restaurants gegeten. Het Japans restaurant en het Lobby Restaurant. Deze vielen toch een beetje tegen. Klein en weinig aanbod. Verder was het erg netjes en de service prima.
