“overcharge hotel”

food was sucks expecial in buffet. It is a buffet but we couldn't find enough food in this resturant.

“Too far from town for business”

This was a good 4 star hotel which doubled as sales office for a Golf Resort and real estate sales for a number of gated communities. The price was reasonable, the service Ok, English was limited but OK .................BUT it is over 1 hour from Guangzhou. During the Canton Fair there was limited buses to take people to the Fair, Airport or East Guangzhou railway. After the Fair there was nothing. Taxi to and from Tianhe was 240RMB each way. Warning the maps do not show this - they indicate something under 6 miles but it is over 60 miles!! Also, the distance to points of interest shown on the website is totally out of whack! I would use this hotel, if I had a car and a young family to entertain for a few days. Maybe if I was a expat getting out of the city for the weekend. Otherwise it is simply to far for business.

Area recommendations

Escape the city for a weekend, play golf, some local sightseeing.............this is great. Do some business is town..........no way.

Dining

3 restaurants at the hotel - but there is an attached shopping area with a number of local dining places, work a try.

Family-friendly activities

There is a great theme park of old china village - worth a look. Children would enjoy.
