“Not Impressed”
This is not the type for western travelers, hotel smells bad, lousy bathroom, poor facility, breakfast is cold, never change the menu, no service. I am glad I can speak mandarin otherwise it is very difficult to communicate with the counter staff. One and only one good thing is the location, it is near the subway, save a lot of money for taxi.

Dirty room, AC not working properly, dirty sheets, towels smells bad. Will rate it as one atar only

“standard hotel not bad not excelent i”
got internet connection, they didnt had the two beds room so they upgraded us to a suite... had to add a small bed... bathroom was ok but could be better.. breakfast was the same all days... it wasnt typical chinese breakfastthat would be great for me that loves chinese dim sun... but it wasnt a typical american breakfast.. went to the guangzhou fair they had shuttle.... internet connection wanst fast enought but that was better than anything considering that there are no free wifi around... also it is a pain to get access to internet cafe....

Simple hotel, quite an old one. I think that 4 stars is too much for this hotel - 3 is more certain measure. Quite a good location, near subway station. No wifi - only ethernet connection. If you are searching for modern and comfortable hotel - try to choose another one. If you prefer economy - this hotel is for you.
“Worst 4 Star I've stayed”
Due to a trade conference, I had a hard time getting a hotel room in Guangzhou. This is definitely worst 4 star hotel I've ever stayed in China. Tiny tub, no refridge in the room (which is pretty standard in most hotels). the hotel charges 10 RMB for a bottle of drinking water, most 4 star hotels give 2 free bottles of drinking water a day. I would rather book a hotel near the airport next time.
“There are else hotels with same price but better service”
First of all, the location of hotel is problem to me. when i arrived to the station of the air port bus near to garden hotel i could not find any taxi who will drop me there. I wonder why the taxi would not stop it is rare. and i walk all the way by my laguage to the hotel. second, The rooms are lack of maintenance. Our bathroom has water leak in the first day.

広州駅から地下鉄５号線で３つ目の区庄駅、出口Ｅを出ると道路をはさんで斜め右手にあります。地下鉄が非常に便利で、大概のところへ行けますので起点にすると便利です。費用からみるとかなりお得なホテルです。部屋は奇麗ですが、少し古いホテルですのでそれなりに慣れれば問題はありません。私の止まった部屋お風呂の水抜けけが悪く時間がかかっていましたが、それ以外問題はありませんでした。コストパフォーマンスという点では大変満足しています。

設備は新しくないが、非常にお得なホテル。お安いホテル にもかかわらず、こんなグレードが高いホテルに泊まったのは初めて。バスタブ付きのバスルーム、32インチの液晶テレビ、冷蔵庫完備。部屋の備品も足らないものがなかった。おまけに朝食まで付いてきてこの値段は驚きでした。ちなみに、朝食は、飲茶で、バイキング形式でした。従業員さんも皆親切でしたが、英語をきちんと話せる人がは少ないので、その点は苦労しました。もちろん日本語を話せる人は誰もいませんでした。あと、Googleマップには気を付けましょう。（住所を正しく入力したにもかかわらず、全く違う場所を指し示していて、結局、途中からタクシーでした。）
