“Loved it!”
We had a terrific room on the 12th floor, view of the river, huge room and the restaurantprovided the best meals in China, and that ws after a month on the road. I recommend the BBQ Goose, and get the stuffed egg plant, who knew it could taste so good. I have no problems recommending this hotel.
“Not Impressed”
Thay need to learn English, i had big trouble communicating with them
“Bailing value hotel”
good service hotel, location not bad, but if u wanna booking always ask for non smoking floor. Breakfast just so so.I may be more appreciated if they have better breakfast.
“The shower was filthy. I bought rubber slippers the next day to shower in.”
Pro: Location was great. River view was spectacular. Con: Most items (including eggs) on the breakfast buffet were cold, including tea and coffee. Dining room has "No Smoking" signs posted everywhere, but there are ashtrays on all the tables and quite a number of smokers during breakfast and even dinner. We complained to the manager, and she shrugged her shoulders. The English channels (BBC, CNN) on the TV did not work all 15 days we were there. We had a no smoking room, but the air duct is such that we can smell smoking from other rooms.
“Non of the hotel staff spoke English”
I stayed at the Bai Ling for six nights. For the first couple of days our mobile & room phones didn't work. So we couldn't phone home to let them know we had arrived safely. The hotel staff sent us to a shopping centre where no one spoke English. I then hired an interperator for four days who helped us purchase a Chinese mobile phone and went sight seeing with us. Our party checked into two rooms and we received one room key for each room. One the second last day, I couldn't find my room key. I ended up getting into a screaming match after ten minutes with the staff behind the front desk to let me into my room. On check out I found the lost room key in the credit card compartment of my purse. They then mentioned on checkout that we where giving two keys per room which isn't true and tried to charge us RMB$50.00 which is around AU$9.00. They ended up eventually letting us check out without paying it as we had a flight to catch.
“Do not book a mini room”
When I booked, I booked a mini room, and it was mini. It was very small, no windows small.
“OK for the price”
No lobby area, no parking area (not even for a taxi stop), no heat in room, the breakfast is terrible. I will book a little higher price next time.
“worth to go”
good location. a few block walk to subway station haiju plaza. nearby Landmark hotel. english speaking front desk. had a shuttle to convention. near local market. Hotel is next to river but sometime smell is not fresh.
“Presentable Budget Hotel”
The hotel is OK. Soft bed, reasonable sized rooms, redecorated some years ago. During trade shows, you fill find better prices, but this one is more presentable if you will have people picking you up at your hotel. There is a 7-11 couple blocks away. Entrance on the backstreet is handy too.
“Bai Ling Hotel Guangzhou una vera catapecchia”
assolutamente da evitare vecchio sporco e maleodorante. la sala della colazione fa passare la fame e le camere fanno passare la voglia di un po di tranquillita'
