Hotel is in the heart of everything. Clean property. Beds are uncomfortable and there is too much noise of the breakfast area and church bells.

Good stay
The hotel was centrally located, but no parking. They did accommodate by letting me park in one of their chain hotels (8 min taxi drive). Friendly staff and walking distance from local restaurants. Warm water was a plus for me!

Sadly, I will not be staying here again, nor will I be recommending to a friend. First and foremost, they downgraded our room from a street view king size bed to a no window no AC poorly ventilated to standard bed with no view. They blamed it on Expedia, saying that they were overbooked and did not have our room available. We did not get a price reduction on our room or an upgrade. Also power went out during our stay, and room was very suffocating given that there was only one window. That was very difficult to access. Breakfast was average only served fruit and granola and coffee. Lastly, service was terrible. Front desk needs training on customer service. They were very unfriendly and cold. There are plenty of other nice and clean hotels in the area, please avoid this one at all cost.

Vacation stay
Very clean, quiet and beautifully put together hotel. Conveniently located near so many restaurants and attractions. The only complaint would be that breakfast was pretty light, but all fresh.

The location is terrific for walking, but we booked one day before and had interior rooms with no outside windows or ventilation. We asked to change, but no other rooms were available. During a warm spell, the provided free-standing plug-in air filters/conditioners weren't up to the task of cooling the air in the rooms nor removing the strong smell of disinfectant. The breakfast was nice, though.

The only negative thing about the room was that the room did not have a window so I had to use the fan in the night and It would get stuffy I was on the 1st floor but the location was excellent

El hotel está súper bonito y cómodo la atención del personal es excelente y muy atentos de ti te hacen sentir como en casa,la chica que atiende en el restaurante es súper amable y está al pendiente de lo que necesites. El hotel está súper céntrico,todo lo tienes saliendo lo único que no tiene el hotel es estacionamiento pero puedes dejar tu carro en otro hotel que trabaja con el hotel virreyes sin ningún problema un poco retirado del centro pero el taxi te cobra 60 pesos para regresarte al hotel la verdad mi familia y yo recomendamos ampliamente el hotel virreyes 100%

Excelente hotel!!
El hotel está súper céntrico en el centro de Guanajuato las anotaciones están muy cómodas y con todas las amenidades necesarias el personal es súper amable y te hacen sentir como familia mi familia y yo quedamos súper contentos con todo. La chica que te atiende en el restaurante es súper amable y muy atenta de lo que necesites. El hotel no cuenta con estacionamiento pero tienen lugar en otro hotel en donde puedes dejar tu carro y el taxi solo te cobra 60 pesos con gusto regresaría al hotel Virreyes!!❤️

It was really nice building in the zona centro i just wish had ac and a mini fridge other than that it was excellent i will come back and i will recommend it but also I'll let them know about my concerns

It was previous an old home, a third floor was added and converted to a hotel. It's across the street from a beautiful church and the plaza de la paz. The University of Guanajuato is just around the block. Very comfortable place to stay..

I stayed here at the end of October, and the room felt stuffy. We were on the 3rd floor, no AC, only a tower fan. I don’t think the fan was enough. We also had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The beds were fine. The room was clean, and the area was perfect.

The property was in the heart of downtown. The hotel staff was very friendly and made us feel like at home. The rooms were clean and spacious. I highly recommend this hotel. Definitely staying there again.

The staff and facilities were very good. The hotel is about 12ft from a church. The bells rang every hour throughout the night. You cannot sleep at this hotel
