My wife and I stayed there for 4 incredible nights.
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The service is the best I've had in my life.
The food at the hotel is very very good.
The facilities are nice, the pool area is beautiful and the rooms are big and pretty comfortable.
This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. Nice that the internet seems to have been upgraded and was fast and reliable. A great mix of old world Mexico and modern convenience. My room was comfortable and very clean. Check in was a bit of a wait but once I got to the counter the gentleman was quick and efficient.
This home is quite beautiful but the hot water was not timed properly and our showers were few. The house management needs some help but the kitchen staff made great meals for us while we were there. The one major drawback is not being able to come and go like at a hotel since we were not allowed to have a house key and the place is locked all the time. This works until 3 pm when the staff leaves and you must rely on synchronizing your schedule with the house manager.

great location. great place to stay. wonderful breakfast, lovely grounds. considerate staff. bad news was...the weather and the condition of the facilities. it was cold (50-55F) and wet. the room had no heat except for a hot blanket and a small space heater. hot water in the shower was not good either. so we were cold in the room, every night. is this the fault of the hotel? i am not sure. were/are their better constructed rooms in the city -- warmer really -- i do not know. but, as long as the air temp is above 65F i think this is a great place. below and you might want to pack your winter gear b/c the rooms are COLD.
My boyfriend and I stayed in the Nardo suite and we loved it. The room was beautiful and very spacious. We had breakfast in the patio and the food was delicious. Great location, beautiful room, and friendly staff.
Big / comfortable rooms. Ideal to park your car and walk around San Miguel.
Our room was great (plenty of space, nice amenities. shower was amazing), but some rooms can be a little noisy (too close to street / common areas).
Restaurant offers tasty breakfast for a good price (aprox. $110 MxPs).
