The first impression of the hotel was nothing special, and it had a smell similar to a public restroom. I'm not sure if it was the cleaning solution they used, but the smell wasn't pleasant. The staff was very friendly, but that doesn't make up for the rest of the issues that we had. I was quickly given both rooms we reserved and upon entering mine, I saw that it was already occupied. There was a laptop, jacket, and other items in the room. Luckily the person wasn't there, or it would have been a very uncomfortable situation for both. I was given a second room and found it was warm and musty, so I turned the a/c on and went to dinner. Upon returning a couple of hours later, I found the room at the same temperature, so I requested a new one. I got the key to the third room, and again it was warm and humid, so I tried the a/c, but it was not working either. Someone went to check the unit and told me that it was probably an issue that had to be worked on by maintenance and that he would be back in a few minutes, but after about an hour, no one showed up and the temperature remained the same. it only blew air as if the fan was on, but not the compressor. I ended up pointing the vent towards the bed and slept that way. The following morning I notified the front desk and was told that it would be fixed during the day or that I would be given a 4th room, but neither happened. I slept the same way the second night. I was given an apology upon checkout, no discount or future offer.
