Room condition is... meh~~~

Pros: Nothing. Only thing good was it was walking distance to Proa.
Cons: The room, especially the air conditioner and the bathroom needs an overhaul.
Location: Eat at Proa. Order the short ribs, caesar salad. Not the trio, but only the short ribs.
I was expecting the Hilton experience when checking in to my room but found the room to be very soggy and the bathroom pretty dirty. It was late in the evening so didn't bother to call housekeeping. Even with the air conditioner on all night, the room was humid and the floor carpet felt soggy. I'm never coming back to Hilton Guam, ever.

Where's the service?

Guam is really expensive in regards to transportation. The Hilton is not close to anything, but they don't run a free shuttle to Tumon or the airport ($15 per person). With all of the extra money I spent on taxis and buses, I should have stayed at the Hyatt.

Just an amazing experience. The staff at the hotel - particularly the breakfast staff - were truly fabulous. Loved the location, the view and just everything about my stay, the hotel.

Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The knowledge of your customers. Put chairs on the Balcony.
Location: The food and the beaches around the hotel were great. Don't eat in the hotel or go to the spa they are overpriced.
The hotel was being refurbished at the sometime there was a huge rush of people from Japan! There was nobody in management who understood that the rush was coming, They need to redo the pool area. Their beach side help was undermanned. I love Hilton but I have always known that Hilton thinks of Guam as a backwater kind of location. The room service staff were nice and friendly.

I went to Guam to spend time with family and was fortunate to stay at Hilton. The room was comfy with a great view! The staff was friendly and housekeeping was especially nice. The polynesian show was fun! I was a little surprised (okay, disappointed) at the wifi offerings in a high end hotel, but it seems there is an island wide lack of free wifi. For the amount paid per night, I didn't expect to pay for wifi in my room or have to go to the business center for complimentary wifi. The gym is a decent size. The pools and beach front are spectacular! This outweighed the wifi problem for me ;) Charging $1 per local call also seemed a bit much! Maybe GTA is to blame, but I wish I noticed that before calling family to avoid roaming charges. Overall, however, I'd stay again. Next time I'll be able to unlock my mobile phone and if not I'd borrow a local one.

For Guam first-timers, Hilton is the place to be where everybody's friendly and helpful. It also has a nice and clean beach.

Hotel had a gas explosion recently, so they are rebuilding the pool area, which makes it rather noisy and hard to access the pools. The resort is usually terrific and will be again, after the renovations.
