Not on the Beach

Posted 06-Aug-2014
Pros: The staff and manager were amazing.
Cons: I let the manager know about some small details, and he is looking into them. He really wants to make the hotel the best it can be.
Location: Use the shuttle bus to get to shopping. It is a long walk. The bus system goes in a loop for hop on/hop off. Get a day or week pass.
For those new to Guam, this was a rather nice place to stay. Unlike some other properties, they are reinvesting in the d├ęcor and up keep. This is important in such a humid climate. The staff was no less than amazing. They made what would have been an average stay in an above average stay. I would stay here again and would recommend others to stay here. While not near the beach, there are shuttles and busses that will take you where you want to go in the tourist areas.

Pros: The room, price, and location.
Cons: Internet speed.
Location: Downtown Tumon.
The hotel is located in a perfect area, close to downtown. However, the internet is the worse when it comes to downloading. i was very disapointed.

Economy hotel in Guam

Posted 01-Jun-2014
Pros: The positive thing is it is near affordable McDonalds. Everything's more expensive than mainland USA.
Location: If you like to walk on a hot humid weather, it is a mile walk to Ypao Beach. There are no walkways, so beware of the drivers. They don't respect pedes
The first room was roomy and had a big screen TV but AC sounded there were birds chirping in the room. Service guy could not repair it for it is loosely attached to the wall. They transferred me in another room with similar amenities but it is humid even though the AC's working.

Nice hotel.

Posted 21-Apr-2014
Pros: The staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable and had a fridge, microwave, safe and hair dryer!
Location: Shopping, Denny's, McDonald's
I stayed for 6 nights. The bed was comfortable, internet was good, staff was VERY friendly. The Bistro had good breakfast for about $5. A shopping shuttle was provided. Nice hotel for nice price and very close to shopping but so close to a beach.

In the middle of everthing

The hotel was nice, but it could use some TLC. Curtains did not work and the carpet appeared a little old. Other then the few things I mentioned the room was a good value.

Guam business trip

Posted 27-Mar-2014 on Hotels.com
I have stayed several times at the Days Inn in Guam. It is great for me in that I travel for business and do not need the hustle and bustle of the congested tourist areas. The hotel is close enough to the tourist areas if you need that sort of thing. I look for a clean, quiet and comfortable room. That is what you get when you stay here. The staff is very cordial and inviting if you take the time to chat and always accommodating if there is a need in your room. Glenna at the front desk made this stay enjoyable and assisted with several things I needed help with this trip! Thanks again to the staff at Days Inn for another great visit.

Recently renovated motel

Posted 31-Jan-2014 on Hotels.com
This is a great place to stay for the price. The rooms and common areas were renovated last year and are in good shape. The location is near the airport and not on the main tourist area, but it is about a mile drive to Ypao beach which has a really nice reef and good beach. I stayed for 11 nights and room cleaning was missed about 3 times. The shower had to run for 10 minutes at 6 am to get hot water. This is pretty common in Guam. TV was good. Internet good. No fitness room. No pool. Good for an inexpensive business stay.
