This motel is a little dated. Room was mostly clean, the fireplace/heater was very efficient. The bathroom, sink and toilet was all in one room, which is not preferable. The shower, no tub was dated.

We loved our stay at Gualala Country Inn! Our room has views of the ocean and beach access near by. Being right at the edge of town we were able to walk into town to enjoy dinner and watch the sunset!

This is our second stay at Gualala Country Inn. It's a nice place across the street from the ocean. We had a pretty good stay here this time with a couple of caveats: the neighbors in the room next to us were very noisy and the walls must be paper thin. Can you possibly do some soundproofing? Two other problems/suggestions: The chairs are hard--little round cushions would go a long way towards making them cuter and more comfortable. It got cold in the night because we didn't want to leave the fireplace on all night--how about a spare blanket in the closet? Positives: love the Keurig and the coffee. View is nice. Beds are comfortable. Becky (?) was very friendly at check-in.

This is a lovely property. As the weather threatened to be stormy, the owner/manager upgraded my room without extra charge so I would not have had to take my luggage up (and back down) a steep outdoor staircase. I also requested a fan for my room, which the manager supplied to me even though the hotel did not possess this item! I'll stay there again when I next visit.

Spectacular views with traditional inn charm. The inn keeper is super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a short walk to Harbor Market - a miniature version of a gourmet supermarket with all imaginable and unimaginable alcohols and food!

The staff kindly upgraded us to a sea view room. We arrived after dark and were so impressed to look out the window in the morning and see the beach and waves. The electric fireplace provided a very cozy feel to the room.

Excellent budget hotel for a trip south on the 1
This was an excellent budget hotel. Spacious, clean, with all the expected amenities. Check in was easy, and reception was very nice and helpful. It was a better then expected stay.

Ceiling light not working. Thermostat fell out of the wall while attempting to set room temperature. Door stop also fell out of the wall at the front door. Bathroom has no ventilation fan. Bathroom window does not have privacy glass. Otherwise the room was ok, if a bit overpriced given the condition.

The property is older, but it’s very lean and the staff were very friendly. The view was amazing from our second story room. There’s also a few places to eat and a market in walking distance.
