“Great value for the price”
It's an old hotel with older furnishings. So if you are someone who what's a "Nice"place to sleep, maybe look elsewhere. What this hotel offers is clean, simple rooms with friendly staff (some with better English than others) but all friendly and polite & try to help the best they can. The hotel restaurant is nice. good food (for breakfast any way - that's the only meal we ate there). The greatest advantage to this Hotel is location location location. For the sight seer in you, you can walk to beautiful places within a couple of blocks. Other reviews say it's noisy but I guess we lucked out as we got a room facing the interior courtyard (such as it is) and noise was not an issue for us. Note I think the pool was closed (we were there in December) as the water looked iffy & I wouldn't have used it. Overall it was perfect for what we wanted & we will go back there.
“Too Bad”
Nice room, comfortable, and pretty clean and neat. Good value. Maid service excellent. Other services were terrible: forgot wake up call, forgot to have taxi for departure, no a/c for two and a half days. No one spoke any English at all. Food was good but way too expensive for area. Management needs to wake up. Could be a very, very nice place to stay if service was up to par.
“great time great staff”
Was going to stay at hotel morales but it was full and a friend from pv, told me about cervantes, so i took a chance and it really paid off, the staff were very friendly and helpful, as my spanish is not that great, hotel manager and sale manager were also very helpful with bus info and bookings, resturant was good, severice was good, and always helpful. Had a great time, that i decided to stay 5 extra days. Will go back, and the price was great,
“"Good to go".”
The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I will return to this hotel without a doubt.
“Right Price, Right Quality”
This hotel was clean, well maintained and provided all services offered. It is a great choice for a budget conscious traveller who wants a clean, well serviced option in the center of Guadalajara.
