Older hotel full of fleas with high rates

Posted 21-Jul-2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Get rid of the fleas. I hear salt works wonders.
Location: Great town and good restaurants.
The pictures were deceiving. We thought it was a regular-type room in a touristy area. It was an old hotel with high rates and lots of fleas. When I complained to the manager, he made no effort to alleviate the problem; no comment at all. I would not go back.

Staff was very pleasant, friendly. Room was clean and looked fairly nice. Beds are hard, did not sleep well at all. Microwave did not work. Small refrigerator, great for keeping water cold. No bible in the drawer, not a requirement but nice to see.

A terrible motel.

Posted 13-Jul-2015
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: The Inn is located in Grover beach, about one mile from Pismo beach.
This is the worst motel that we have ever stayed in. The hotel room has no air conditioner. All they provided to each room is an electric fan. The room is dirty. It did not even provide coffee in the room. The beds are hard and very uncomfortable. The room was very small and there is very little wiggling room. The inn is run by a couple. They provided little or no service. They were not even able to provide us a local map. Worst of all, the hotel is very pricy (>$200 a night). In short, this is the worst hotel that we have ever stayed in. Avoid it at all costs.

The location was good since it was close to the pismo beach sports complex, but it was hot and stuffy which kept my 2 year old daughter and I up all night. The office smelled. Overall, over priced.

Pros: The cleaning staff was nice.
Cons: Professionalism of office staff. Breakfast. Newer furniture. Cheaper price for what you get.
Location: Dune buggies and Pismo beach pier.
Fan in room due to no air conditioning. Very hard beds. We could see the sunlight from outside around the edges of the door. They advertised Breakfast, but it really was a muffin and coffee or juice. Very run down. Very nice cleaning staff. No fan in the bathroom. Old furniture. Advertised as having a table in the room, but there wasn't room for a table in our room. Was given the "ocean view" room. You could BARELY make out the blue of the distant ocean over the trees,

Very Disappointed!

Posted 18-May-2015
Pros: Nothing but proximity to Pismo Beach. My car was keyed during the night while parked in the hotel a lot. Heard loud talking late at night.
Cons: They need to do a serious remodel and refresh on this place! They also need to quit advertising any kind of breakfast, even continental
Location: Pismo Beach, resturants
Rooms old and in poor condition. Bedding old and pillows lumpy foam. Holes in walls and bathtub areas. No air conditioning, only small, questionable looking wall heaters and a fan.. "Continental Breakfast" was punch, cookies, packaged muffins and coffee served off the tiny office counter. NO BREAKFAST would be an honest advertisement. This place put a damper on my family weekend away!

The hotel was located close to where we needed to be. They said free wifi, but we didn't have cell reception in the room. Had to stand on the sidewalk in front to make a call.

The front desk worker was nice. I paid the price that I booked , no hassle.
