“Surprising impressed with my first stay”

I was a little worried about staying in a 2-star hotel thinking it might not be very nice and/or clean. But everything was much better than I even expected -- and I think I'm a pretty picky traveler. Room was spacious and clean, hotel staff was friendly, breakfast was great (loved the homemade waffles and the Bob Evans heat-and-serve sausage breakfast burritos) and the pool was great. There was also many good restaurants within walking distance (including a 5-Guys Burgers and Fries -- mmm!!). I would not hesitate to stay in a La Quinta again!

“Great for our overnight stop”

Very clean, animal friendly (we travelled with our 60lb. labrador. Breakfast was OK...had the basics and a waffle maker, but too long of a line for waffles that morning. Bed was very comfortable!

Very clean room in a well maintained hotel. Best hotel we've found in SW Columbus and surely the best value.

Have a wedding in July in Blacksburg and will definitely see if there's one near there & will recommend it to our guests...CG/ Virginia

“Clean, comfortable, great value”

The Four Seasons this is not. It's a nondescript, low-priced hotel in an area of Columbus heavily populated by strip malls. That said, we love staying here when we're in Columbus visiting family. We get everything we need and just about everything we want: coffeemaker, hairdryer, iron, and big empty fridge in the room; an indoor pool and workout room with treadmill, recumbent bike, and stepper; free, convenient surface parking right out front; and all-you-can-eat continental breakfast every morning. Love the self-service waffle iron that yields yummy fresh waffles at the breakfast bar. The free breakfast also includes fresh fruit and a couple of other reasonably healthy options, which we appreciate -- it's not just cinnamon rolls and Sugar Pops. On top of all that, the place is more-than-usually clean for this price point. The lone quibble on this stay: recumbent bike quit working during our stay, so I had to use the treadmill instead. We will continue to stay here every time we come to town.

“Consistent so far!”

This is the second time we've stayed here, with the first being about 5 months ago. Each time the desk staff have been very friendly and helpful. Both times our rooms were very clean and smoke-free like we requested. The beds were very comfortable with many pillows, and I probably sleep better at La Quinta Inn than I do on my top of the line matress at home! There is plenty of parking in their own lot out front, and the location is great. There are many places to eat near the hotel as well as grocery stores. Downtown Columbus is only about 10 mintues away, which is why I prefer to stay here when I go to hockey games and not waste money by trying to get a hotel room downtown. The hotel has an indoor pool too, but I did not try it out. I did notice several people enjoying it though. They also offer complementary breakfast in the morning, but I always wake up too late to try that out. I definitely look forward to staying here again!

“IMPRESSED”

Before booking this hotel, I read other reviews. ALL the reviews gave the hotel thumbs up. I decided to trust the reviews. BOY! The reviews were to the point. I stayed at this hotel for Rest and Relaxation. This was the place to be! The room was comfy, the stafff friendly, great location, DAILY complimentary (hot) breakfast, and other ammenities that accomodated me. If I am ever in the Grove City area in OH, I would DEFINITELY stay here again without a second guess!
