Hotel was adequate for the price. Clean and comfortable bed but decor of the room was very dated and was a flashback to the 1970's with orange and green paintwork, reddish carpeting with staining, cream painted walls with some marks and old fashioned flowery bed-throw that was covered in fluff-balls on the inside. Rooms on second floor with bars on the windows feels like a night in a cell. Having said all of that the' hot spa' village itself was a quaint place and appeared to have been in its hay-day around the Victorian/Edwardian times but fallen out of favour over the last 50 years!! Although still a few octogenarians using the hotel spa facilities accompanied by their parents! The Reception/Dining area of the hotel was a contrast to the rest of the hotel - it was bright and appeared to have had a bit of TLC and the breakfast was pleasant and adequate. Just the normal cold continental breakfast on offer but can order an omelette for 5 euros extra. I must add that the staff were very friendly and helpful. Not a bad experience overall but hotel just needs updating.
My wife and I stayed two nights in mid-March 2012. The hotel is a small building overlooking the river. Reception does not open until 5:30pm which can be a nuisance if you arrive early. We had a second floor room, which was small but adequate, and had a bonus of overlooking the river, with dual French windows also giving a brilliant view of the mountains. The bed was on the small side but was comfortable, and there was a flat screen TV. Wifi was free and parking was available in tiny yard at the rear. The bathroom was small but the shower was tiny and the sliding glass doors didn‘t close. The tiles were a bit mouldy in the grouting but was otherwise clean. The stairs were a bit creaky and there is no lift. Breakfast was of good quality. The manager was polite and helpful and offered some sight-seeing advice. This is an inexpensive hotel and is a comfortable place to stay.

This wasn't the best hotel we stayed in during our trip by any means, but we knew when we booked that we were booking a Campanile. We are familiar with the Campanile brand and we got exactly what we expected.
Rating is against what we would consider to be a reasonable expectation of a 2 star hotel - and against those standards it is excellent. If I measured it against the standards I expect of a higher class hotel, it would, of course, have scored somewhat lower.
Clean & well presented with the addition of a balcony & polite and caring staff was pleasing to find at this 2 star hotel.
Few hotels were left when we wanted to late book a ski trip & we were almost put off by some very mixed reviews for this one. However, we were pleased & surprised by the high standards at the hotel, in particular we found the staff to be very accommodating to any requests made by us..
The restaurant is charming but the food was not served hot enough for our tastes. This was our only criticism & we would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
