What a beautifully restored Villa, right on the sea, with immaculate gardens of mature , trees, new-laid stone walkways and driveway. Across the road is a fluffy-sand beach (unusual here).
The apartment rooms are spacious (also unusual here) with new and comfortable furniture and large dining table. The kitchen is well-equipped and new. Big and small supermarkets are right down the road. St. Tropez is intimate with newly cobbled streets that wind to the top of the hill, with lovely shops. The harbor in the old town has gorgeous yachts, cafes and restaurants and two great museums not to be missed. The coast road towards Le Lavandou should also not be missed: dramatic views of rocky coasts, sand beaches in small coves and lovely hillside houses. We loved the location and the Villa. The views of the sea from the bedroom and living room and the lovely decor and paint colors will live long in our memory. 3 lovely hilltop towns are close by, too. Thank you, Stephano and Mr. Bill!
The staff were incredibly nice and went above and beyond in making our stay comfortable. The room was spacious. The gardens were zen and the hotel is in a great location, near the beach and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hated to leave :-).
The hotel in general was beautiful, lovely, clean and sizable room with a wonderful sea view. The staff very attentive. Its in a perfect location (if not a bit noisy from road) for walking into St.Maxime or exploring further along the coast. My main complaint is the fact they advertise a restaurant and bar, neither of which were open. I understand that we went out of season, but if they had stated these were seasonal facilities, we would have stayed elsewhere. We had some heavy rain during our stay and really only wanted to have a meal and drink at hotel, but alas, had to travel along the coast in dreadful weather to do so. We couldn't even have a cup of tea/coffee whilst in our room, as there were no drink making facilities, there was a mini bar, but no means of making or obtaining a hot drink. Wouldn't take much to provide each room with a kettle!!!! In general, its a lovely hotel, but would not stay there again in winter because of the lack (of promised) facilities.

Our hotel room was based on the standard Ibis formula, and therefore was as expected. The hotel staff were pleasant, and the swimming pool surprisingly relaxing considering its proximity to a main road. There is a large supermarket nearby, which we found convenient. You do however need to have a car if you are staying at this hotel and want to visit Cogolin, Saint Tropez etc.

The standard room was too small so we upgraded to a superior room which was larger by three feet to the side, not from the bed to the desk which would have allowed me to pass behind my husband at the desk. There was excellent lighting by the bed for reading, which is rare in hotels in Europe today. The shower was excellent with lots of space and hot water. Lots of space around the sink for toiletries. The decor was modern and fresh. However, if you come by car there is no place to unload your suitcases in front of the hotel. You would be in a car park across the street, or, on Saturday market day, a block away. Not good for us mature or handicap travelers. There is an elevator, very small but good.Free WiFi in the room. Reception was closed between 12:30 and 2:30, when we arrived so we ate a delicious lunch at the restaurant next door. Still, an inconvenience. No gratuities were provided in spite of these problems for us. Still, it was a good price for accommodations and right in the middle of the lovely town of Cogolin. You could find excellent breakfast or lunch take away food right there in the village center. We travel for 4 weeks at a time so this is nice for us to do on occasion
