“Great Budget Hotel in a Great Location!!!!”

This is a great budget hotel set in a great location. Grand Anse beach is a stone's throw away and the Spiceland Mall - complete with supermarket - is less than a two minute walk. We did not have a car but the minivans into St George's were just at the end of the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious and well appointed with views over their gardens and the beautiful ocean.

Dining
We had dinner at two lovely restaurants in the area, Kalinago Beach Resort Restaurant and The Flamboyant Hotel Beachside Terrace Restaurant. Each with wonderful beach views and great food.

“Caribbean Dreaming”

The hotel is close to Grand Anse Beach and the Spiceland Mall. Minivans to St George's are also nearby. The hotel pool was lovely. Conveniently located at a reasonable price. Room large and in good repair.

“Great Setting”

I visited the Siesta Hotel 13 years ago, it needs a little sprucing up now, which seem to be happening slowly after the hurricane. The hotels location is excellent about 3 minutes from the supermarket and around 10 minutes stroll to the beach and the surrounding areas were quite peaceful. Staff were friendly and very helpful and will try and make life as easy as possible for you - I was loaned a kettle and cups. Would recommend friends who are looking for a place to chill out and get away from the hustle and bustle. Loved it there

Dining
I loved the local food at the spice mall, the soups were quite filling and quite reasonable. Just follow the locals, they know good food and value for money!

“Nice little well kept hotel”

Siesta is a neat and quiet hotel close to Grand Anse beach, and within a short walk of shopping and restaurants.

Area recommendations
Many beautiful beaches with a variety of amenities.

“Great for our "just passing through" needs”

Nice little privately owned operation. Clean rooms. Nice pool. Great personal service which was very much appreciated. We were just passing through so only stayed overnight but it was perfect for what we needed and for the price.

“Great Value & location”

I choose this hotel due to it's reasonable rates and location. It was about a 300 yard walk to the spice mall. It also had a reasonably priced restaurant and bar as well as a nice pool. It would not be my choice for a beach vacation as it is not on a beach but it was very clean and convenient at a great price.

The nearby indoor and outdoor malls are a short walk and offer reasonably priced meals as well as a supermarket.

“My stay at Siest”

I had a very delightful stay at Siesta...although I am used to hotels having complimentry breakfast...this one did not. My room I stayed in had the BEST veiw in all ov Grenada! The hotel staff was so nice and the new restaraunt "TAFFY"S" was kind of high priced...but they were nice people. The place was very relaxing and just a 2 min walk to the beach and mall and other places! I loved my stay at Siesta.

Traveller's tip
Take a shower early in the morning or late at night before the pipes get real hot...the cold water will not work if the pipes are hot from the sun....(had no idea...had to learn the hard way!)....Oh yeah, LOCAL CALLS ARE NOT FREE! YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY! (had to learn that too the hard way!)
