Unpleasant Hotel Experience

Pros: Very little. It was clean, but that was about it. The other situations negated the positives of the experience.
Cons: Management needs to manage its staff and be attentive to the conditions of the hotel. Work orders should be implemented immediately, from the start.
Location: The hotel is near a large medical center. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
Apparently, the building is cheaply constructed. I assume so because there was much noise in terms of plumbing, creaks, and other noises in the walls that I have never experienced hearing anywhere else I have stayed. I requested a room change. The new room was somewhat of an improvement; however, when I first arrived to the new room, I found that the new room had burned out light bulbs (at the entrance) and a telephone cord that was faulty, which caused the telephone not to work. I placed a work order in the morning (before leaving) that was ignored until I put in a second request during the late afternoon when I returned to hotel. Maids came in once during a four-day stay. I don't plan to stay there again, and wouldn't recommend it to a soul.

My hotel stay was very comfortable we enjoyed the stay... Plan on doing it again soon.. Only problem was there wasn't no microwave or refrigerator in the room but did enjoy my stay

Nice hotel with great staff!

Overall, the hotel was very good. I booked the smallest room available. It had everything I needed. It did not have a mini fridge. The breakfast was a continental breakfast with muffins, bagels, waffles, fruit, cereal, juice, and coffee. The Good: *Close to the airport and ECU *Good desk and closet space *Big HDTV and lots of cable options *Heating and air controlled by wall thermostat *The staff was excellent! The Bad: *The water saver shower head was 8 feet from floor. It seemed like just a mist of water was hitting me. *There were poorly done patches in wall and rusty chrome fixtures in the bathroom.

Pros: Location, close to point of need.
Cons: very adequate facility. They need to consider more variety to the breakfast.
Location: close to my point of need, ideal location to everything.
Nice facility, Expedia should review my room bill for possible partial refund.

Business overnight

Pros: The staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SUPERB!!!!
Cons: The walls are thin . . . don't be surprised if you hear what is happening next door . . . the staff though is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!
There were a number of young athletes in the room next door and, as is not uncommon, they could get loud at times. We didn't worry about it too much until after 11 pm and when it didn't calm down any, we contacted the front desk. The staff called the room and things quieted down for the rest of the night. The room was clean, though there were some old stains on the settee, carpet & chairs. This is not the Waldorf, but for the price . . . it is a nice bed in a box.

Great location

Pros: The hotel was quiet and clean. Breakfast was decent and the staff was great.
Location: There are lots of food options and even a Jimmy Johns right beside the hotel. Not to mention how close the hotel is to the ECU campus.
I really enjoyed my recent stay. It was only an overnight stay but the hotel was located in an excellent safe location right near East Carolina. Overall the hotel was pretty quiet and well kept. My room was clean and I found the staff to be super friendly and helpful.
