dirty sheets broken remote

while the staff wanted to be pleasant, the dirty sheets really put a damper on the evening. My daughter had to change her own sheets at 11 pm and the replacement pillow cases were also wrong-the inner zip ones. Towels were worn, thin and rough. You needed to "run around" in the shower to get wet. The remote for the TV was held together by scotch tape that was wearing out to the point that the batteries were hard to keep in the machine. Water from the tap was pretty wretched, but that is the cities fault. Hard to find a decent place to park near the room

This was perfect for visiting Brody School of Medicine and was a great price. I was very pleasantly surprised by the condition of the rooms and the friendly staff.

Nice hotel except for the noise from other rooms

Pros: Nice location and very clean/modern hotel.
Cons: Sound proofing between rooms.
Location: Lots of fast food places nearby.
Checked in OK but a very noisey hotel, floors and walls are paper thin, so if you are a light sleeper like me, go elsewhere. I checked in for two nights, had to change rooms due to a snorer next door, but then another snorer checked into the room next to me. The walls are so thin you can hear people talking and snoring. Tried to change rooms again but no guarantee I would not get another noisey neighbour. If I had known I would not have stayed here. Wi-fi is very slow too

Can't beat it for the price

Pros: It was clean, comfortable, and accommodating. It had an elevator so even in a wheelchair I was able to get an upper floor room which i prefer.
Cons: Being in a wheelchair I think all hotels should remove carpet. It's a beast to maneuver across and with bags in tow it is a real challenge.
Location: I was visiting family so I didn't sight-see much. Being a big football fan I did visit ECU.
I was a guest for 3 nights and my stay was excellent from beginning to end. I got checked in quickly, by a very friendly guy who was very knowledgeable about his job as well as general info about the area. I had a few minor problems with my room and he immediately addressed and resolved them. I'm handicapped and confined to a wheelchair and everything in this hotel accommodated my needs. The only setbacks were that my room was never cleaned during my stay. I'm not sure if that was my fault because I never requested it but I didn't know I had too. I did manage to get clean towels and I'm not a messy person so it wasn't a big deal for me. The other thing was that my TV went out on my last night and never came back on. I probably needed the rest more anyway but I thought that was odd. Other than that everything was great.

Great price and very clean and convenient

All positive. Only negative was tv in the next room was right on the same wall as my tv, and I could hear every word spoken and the music of the movie they were watching. Bed was pretty comfortable, but if there were two of us instead of one, the mattress seemed to be a little bowed. Therefore, it would've been uncomfortable for two people.

Relatively close to ECU

Pros: Staff was great!
Cons: Cleanliness of the room.
Location: I was there to visit ECU for grad school - did not really check out things to do nearby.
Decent place to stay - though room left a little to be desired. Carpet was stained and needed a good shampoo, but a good vacuuming would have been good, too.

Pros: Good bargain and very clean
Location: Good location for food and close to downtown
I was very impressed with how clean and comfortable the hotel was. The staff was friendly and helpful. The best bang for the buck.
