jacuzzi suite
The staff is very attentive and caring. we stayed in the jucuzzi suite and it was huge! my only criticism would be that it could have been cleaner. Overall we had a great stay. thank you to the staff, who was very hospitable and made it worth it!

The biggest issues I had was that the room I was in had a weird smell and the battery on my door went out. But instead of offering me another room, the front desk clerk advised me to put the inside lock in between the door and the door frame from keeping the door from shutting all the way when I left the room so I could let myself back in.

We stayed over one night. There was a roach in the room when we got in. There were stains on all the funiture. The bathroom shower sprayed all over the floor of the bathroom even with the curtain fully closed. Breakfast is bad. Coffee tastes like water. Just really bad.

It is very convenient to the University and a very good little restaurant. It is an old Holiday Inn Express that has been renamed not renovated. Furniture very dated. It served the purpose, a clean safe place to stay after the football game. The only hotel in town. Breakfast was adequate nothing exceptional.

Relatively quiet hotel.. friendly staff, I would have gave 5 star but the beds are kinda uncomfortable had back pain after day 2. We checked out a day early staff was understanding and refunded us a hundred bucks… your in the same parking lot as a Walmart and steakhouse that’s a huge plus.. overall was a great stay.

Room 319 the water backed up in the shower and the crickets need to be emptied from the light in the bathroom. There needs to be another kind of juice for breakfast everyone can not drink orange juice.

It is just impossible this hotel continue their business. I can’t believe I had to kill 5 insects. Disgusting. They were not Beatles like hotel informed at front.

Garbage Hotel...Garbage Customer Service
I the single worst customer service interaction of my life at this hotel. Rude, unaccommodating, and unprofessional. They have a bug problem that they admit to and don't fix. I went to take a shower...no shower curtain or towels. I called the front desk. Girl who answered says I need to come get one at the front desk..I asked if she could bring it up and she hung up on me. I called back and and asked again...she says she will bring it up. 15 minutes later...no shower curtain. I went downstairs..no one at the front desk. I go back to my room and call the front desk several times. No answer. 25 minutes pass, no shower curtain. I call the front desk again, new girl answers. I explain the situation...she says I have to come down and get it...she says front desk worker isn't allowed to leave the front desk (I was just down there....no one there). I asked who was putting up the shower curtain...her reply "you don't know how?" I couldn't believe it. Then she follows with "I am not housekeeping". I go downstairs again...get the shower curtain and ask why they are being so rude. Again, she says, "I am not housekeeping....and it's not that much of an inconvenience (for me to do the job of the hotel)." I also told her we needed towels...I got a really dirty look and she went to get towels. Didn't have any at the front desk. So she left to get them (I thought she couldn't leave the front desk?). Not once was there an apology or the slightest care bout the situation. GARBAGE HOTEL

It was workable for what we needed. Right across the way from my student’s dorm The room had a strong musty smell, the furniture was scratched up, and there was mold on the shower curtain and around the tub. The indoor pool looked nice, but we didn’t get to use it. The pressure in the shower was excellent.

This hotel has gone downhill
We have stayed here several times in the past with no problem but this time was awful!! The first room we were put in had a towel in the toilet and the toilet didn’t work. The second room didn’t have a shower curtain and the phone didn’t work so I went down to the front desk, was handed a shower curtain and had to put it up myself. When I went down and asked for towels the girl came back with one and said “sorry that’s all I could find” and acted annoyed I even asked. The customer service has gone from a 10 to a 2 overall. To top it off the breakfast has gone down too. Not sure if they have new owners or what but the people there now act like it’s a bother to help anyone.

This property is conveniently located next to Texas A&M Commerce and Walmart. Renovations are taking place which were very much needed base upon my last stay. The renovations were the missing piece to the puzzle. This is the place I will stay if I’m ever at Texas A&M commerce again moving forward because there are no other hotels in the Commerce area that would meet my standard. I can only comment on the rooms that were renovated because if this was not the case, then I would not have stayed.

Terrible stay. Got in the room and felt like a jail cell. Nothing cozy to it. Laminate flooring and it was dirty. Looked like the construction or painters didn’t care to clean up their mess. Also our bed frame broke when just adjusting on the bed. Box spring was stained with something dark they could’ve covered it with a bed skirt. Mattress caved in so it was hard to get out of the bed. Overall just terrible. Wouldn’t recommend.

I booked a room with 2 queen beds for 2 non-gay guys but got 1 king bed, small sofa and a jacuzzi. When we complained that it was not what we ordered, they said their hands were tied and they could not fix our room. The staff at this hotel made it known that they didn’t like that we booked through a 3rd party (Expedia) and we were not given the room we booked through Expedia. So one slept in the bed and son slept on a makeshift bed using the couch cushions. While it was only one night, we will never book at this hotel again.
