The front desk person was awesome. Great personality, funny, very welcoming. He was the best thing about this hotel. But it’s dated and dingy. No amount of cleaning would make it look clean. A full remodel is needed. Pool closed for service on a 90 degree day. Just a huge disappointment overall.

This is an older property that needs updating. The shower tub area needs replacing. The socket in the bathroom did not work. Had to use a socket outside the bathroom for hairdryer and curling iron. The curtain was torn. Disappointed in Holiday Inn Express. This is the second one I stayed in that needs serious attention

Sheets and bed were clean. Bathroom was in disrepair, sinks pushed down on the wall. Water marks on the ceiling and pain chipping from the walls.

Outdated and dirty. The property seemed to be doing outside remodels but that wasn’t even the issue, the carpet had stains and the furniture had noticeable wear and tear along with stains. The door to my room appeared to be beaten. The mattress flung up while sitting on the foot on the bed! Very disappointing, was in town for my birthday and ended up having to book a nice room at the Hampton Inn.

There are a large amount of HS kids staying on the property. We reserved 2 double beds for 3 adults and were given a king and pull-out sofa bed because our room was given to someone else. So there is an adult sleeping on an uncomfortable pull-out bed. Even though we were next in line, the front person checked in the teacher with the kids first (most likely why our room was no longer available). Our room is also on the first floor next to the common area where all the HS kids are hanging out and being loud. The carpet is extremely dirty with hair on the floor and there are holes in the wall. Stay away - definitely not worth the $230 dollars a night and not the typical quality of a Holiday Inn Express.

Review of Holiday Inn Express 2024
This was the 2nd time we stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Greenville, the first time was excellent all around, great service and staff. The second time started rocky with staff not wanting to be accommodating with some asks, but in fairness they turned it around and performed the service they had the 1st time. The room was about the same as the 1st time clean and well kept. I believe they are renovating the hotel so there were some water pressure issues with sink and toilet, but maintenance fixed the sink, toilet not so much, although no hotel is perfect. Breakfast is generally good for a free meal and the ambiance is pleasant and professional. Overall, if my family needed to go to a hotel again in Greenvillle that has decent prices we would go back to this one.

Very friendly and polite staff. Room was clean and nice complimentary breakfast. The outlet in the bathroom did not work and the ironing board could not stand on its own.

We had 4 lamps in the room, 2 of the lamps didnt work. Had to switch out bulbs. Hotel is outdated. Ok for a 1 night stay.

The room was decent and comfortable. The stay is super! They are so friendly and helpful. The only thing is the heel itself could stand some upkeep and renovations. Would stay here again

We stayed on the 2nd floor for 2 nights. We were not in the room all day. But don't come without your Lysol. I believe the they have a plumbing problem. It smelled like the sewer wss going thru its time of the month. This would explain why the bathroom exhaust fan was on when we arrived. Water in the bathroom sink would not get hot. Shower hot water was a little better. Not sure why the variance. Minor things were easily resolved like soap, tissue outtage which the staff replaced very quickly. Each shift was very pleasant and helpful. Room was well clean otherwise.
