“Little expensive for area, but OK”

No complaints, was clean, service friendly. False fire alarm was scary. Little expensive for this area.

Area recommendations
Washington NC is quaint, nice boardwalk along Pamlico River.

“Best hotel in Washington, NC”

It's a little higher than the other hotels in Washington, NC but clearly a cut above--quieter, cleaner, newer, better breakfast, more professional staff . . . best place to stay for thje night before catching the Swan Quarter ferry (about 1 hour 15 minutes drive) hte next morning--just watch out for the speed traps!
