“Good Place to Stop for the Night”

Booked in for one night on my way to Atlanta. The hotel was easy to find, clean and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was good and there were no issues with the room. I took a smoking room, but I'm an ex-smoker. The room was as advertised, so make sure that if you want a non-smoking room that you request it.

“Clean budget hotel”

Nothing fancy, but an OK place to stay. We were moving a new freshman into Elon University and this was a clean, decent, low-cost facility. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was good, although the breakfast area itself was very small and extremely crowded--better to take something to go, even though they ask you not to take food to the room. There are motels closer to Elon than this, but it is not too far away and was the only thing we could find available on move-in weekend. Our expectations were not very high and, on balance, I would say that this property exceeded them.

“nice motel, Hard beds”

i checked in a little late and asked to be moved to a ADA room. BIG mistake, when they move you you get the bed that feels like a bedframe. i asked again and was informed there was no more. i end up sleeping on the window bench pad. 18" wide. when i ask the next day i was told they are getting new beds soon...at the conferacne i attended i asked around and they said they have been getting beds for 3 years. i left with out stayign the second night.

“Not impressed.”

Small hotel with no amenities and very unfriendly staff, not even eye contact or a smile. Continental breakfast was pitiful. Very convenient to interstate, but there were six other hotels and surely one of them would have been more welcoming. Won't stay here again.

“Burlington Microtel”

Tried to tell me I booked Smoking but I had non-smoking booked. Looked dingy, smelled, not a pleasant experience at all.

Stayed at Microtel Inn And Suites Burlington for 3 days and loved it. Great location, clean room, great staff, etc. Would highly recommend Microtel Inn. Thanks for a great 3 days.

Hotel was very comfortable and very clean. Considering Microtel is a economy hotel, you don't expect much in amminities. The bed may not be the most plush and the walls are a bit thin, but thats kinda the point. The only issue with the room was the iron was broken and had to be replaced. There was one issue with the hotel service and that was the person that was attending the desk at night could have been a bit more friendly. A simple smile and a "Hello" goes a very long way. He must have missed that part of his training. In some ways he made me feel that I was taking him away from doing something more important when I made a request. (i.e. a new iron). Having hot waffels included with the contential breakfast was very nice. But it would have been helpful to have a can of non-stick spray there to keep the waffles from sticking to the iron. Had to use a few butter pats each time I made a waffle to coat the iron. The person at the desk said it was a non-stick waffle Iron and spray was not necessary. I beg to differ. If I find my self back in Burlington, I would have no problems staying at this hotel again.

“good stay for the money”

location was great as I just needed a place to stay for one night. Very convienant from the highway. the only downside was a dirty wash towel left over shower curtain. the breakfast was very simple but good.

“Will try hard not to go back”

This is a clean, very bare bones hotel. a place to sleep that is convenient to Rt 85. no frills, no comforts.
