“Very impressed.”

Booked this location becasue of reputation and price. Great location, close to numerous food venues. Staff was outstanding and very accommodating.

“Convenient to Elon”

In town for some events in Greensboro and Elon. Great hotel for both places. Staff was helpful and cheerful. Rooms were just renovated and comfortable.

We had a wonderful time at this motel It was very quiet. The only thing wrong with it was the bar was not big enough. And it was at the front of the lobby. near the check in desk for kids to see.

“An Exceptional Hotel”

We are a family of four and stayed here on the next to last evening of a college-hunting road trip. This hotel is exceptional in almost every way. It is well-designed, aesthetically pleasing, convenient, staffed by friendly people, and the pool is terrific and new poolside furniture decorates the area around it. The room was huge and well-appointed. The only problem we had - and it was easy to get over - was the extremely slow service at breakfast. We weren't sure we were going to make it for our appointment to Elon on time, because the line was so long and the service was quite slow. It took easily twenty - thirty minutes for them to bring us three yogurt parfaits and a scone. One gentleman there seemed new and could have been part of the problem; I had ordered two coffees from him earlier that morning to take up to the room while we showered and dressed, and he had to read some kind of instruction manual to see how to make them. Other than that, we highly, highly, highly recommend this hotel. If our son is accepted at Elon and decides to go, we know where we will stay and we will be happy to do so. And - if you stay here - you must eat at The Village Grill. I have travelled widely and I would put the meal I had on par with the best meals I have ever had - anywhere in the world. The shrimp and grits with andouille was fantastic, as was the key lime margarita I washed it down with, and the cheesecake I had for dessert. A real pro waitress also.

“BEWARE Renovations”

This hotel was a bit of a disappointment due to renovations going on. The front reception area looked as if a bonb had hit it with construction e verywhere. The room was clean but dated. Also if on the front side of the hotel you will hear the interstate which it sits on.I am due to return for another 4 night stay in May but may change hotels. I really like Marriotts but this was a disappointment should have let the guests be aware.

“rooms too small”

Have stayed in Many Marriots, I do not know the purpose of cutting the room size, but will be going back to this area 5 or 6 times a year and will not stay at this location again

“Great Stay for the Holidays!”

My family and I stayed here as we visited my relatives for the holidays. The hotel staff and room was EXCELLENT! My wife hates a hard mattress- these mattresses were soft and just wrapped around you as you laid down. This hotel was very clean.

“convenient and comfortable”

Everything was fine except the AM breakfast buffet, which was reasonably priced, was cold -- no fresh scrambled eggs -- not much in the way of fresh fruit.

“Elon's Finest”

Excellent spot to stay when visiting Elon University. Convenient to the highway, shopping and the University, the hotel is in top condition and proves to be a home away from home for parents for the 4 year stay. Friendly management staff and quick adjacency to restaurants make this a no brainer when your looking for consistency, familiarity and comfort.

Area recommendations

Recommend you check out the new outdoor mall just down the street from the hotel for exciting new restaurants and great shopping in a convenient outdoor format.
