Parking at the NCP is good: about 8 form 4pm to 11am next day. . Check in is easy if you park on the double yellow lines outside for a bit. The room's water tank boiler (hot water for bathrooms and sink and radiators/central eehatring) kept losing its pressure and had to be restored with teh two blue valves. The security chain on the room door had no fob on its end and was therefore useless. The en-sutie shower had its own water heater which ran from very hot to very cold (and back) all the time: dangerous IMHO. Only one dishwasher tablet!!! The wfi and tv good. The lift was good. The area is busy at night as there is a centre/shelter for homeless. Noisey on Friday/saturday. Security isnt great as people could tail-gate residentes to get in at the front door and then easily get up in the lifts. Hence the need for a chain on the door in addition to the locking bolt.

I love staying in this property. The staff were so friendly, helpful and gave us excellent recommendations. The apartment was incredibly spacious and the central location meant we could walk to where we needed to go. I would stay here again.

All the home comforts you need & no taxi home
We had stayed at the apartments back in 2014 when we were married at Arta and needed accommodation close by Our stay was great then and also now Loved having the washer dryer as it allowed us to go home with no laundry!! The apartments are fully equipped with everything you need or could need!! It was a perfect location for us for our Christmas concert, a little shopping and a little excellent food and drink!! Although we are Glasgow residents the apartments give you all the home comforts you need without the taxi home One small suggestion….. a TV in the bedroom!! We really missed this!!

Great location, helpful staff, room safe was missing and couple of cleaning issues, eg wrappers, paper under sofa and a few cobwebs above units, dusty vents, light fittings but on the whole ok. Would use again as great location, easy walking distance from train station, minutes from city centre and bars and restaurants.

The management, coordination and stay in general was excellent, we really enjoyed it. A couple of points were not perfect: the mattresses were absolutely rock hard (to our preferences only), the tv didn’t work, but that was only to keep our daughter temporarily engaged and the lighting in the bathrooms were not conducive to make up application. Overall, we were delighted though!

Close to the CBD but overlooks old and decaying building. Rooms looking old and need maintenance. Mould in one of the bathrooms but other were clean. One room (that my 7 year old) smelt of smoke every morning. Outside on balcony was very dirty. Walls scuffed in many places, sliding doors unable to close properly and thus noisy.

Property was good, the many fire doors were annoying but safe, all facilities were good and so was location. Car parking was easy once you had more information - as an overseas visitor without a UK phone, it wasn’t helpful to be asked to download apps just to get into a car park. Especially when there is an easy workaround. Reception is hard to find and the washer/dryer has no instructions and took hours.

City Centre Comfort
This is the first time I have tried The Spires since I sold my Glasgow flat. It was actually better than I had expected: spacious and comfortable. The only malfunction was the toaster which reception said immediately they would replace. The city centre location was great too thought I should have remembered about the World Cycling Championships being held in Glasgow at the time!

Exceptional location you can walk to everything in the Glasgow centre centre to restaurants bars into the river Clyde. Tim, the manager was so helpful and guided me on things to do and where to go. The property fit my needs in terms of sleep and cooking but was not ideal for a working trip. There was no where to do work comfortably (I ended up putting a pillow on the ground and setting up my computer on the coffee table). The TV also did not work and although I raised it with the reception no one ever came to fix it or contacted me.

It was spacious. The rooms were connected through a short hallway so we had to keep propping open the doors. It was a good location but at night it was so loud that we couldn’t sleep. People were yelling so loudly. Also the dryer didn’t work.

Brilliant base for exploring the city
Brilliant apartments within walking distance of shops, bars and transport connections. Some of the kitchen was looking a bit tired but I didn’t use it so it didn’t bother me. Would 100% stay again and recommend.

Service and queries were answered very quickly and help given straight away. As an overseas visitor, it would help for instructions to be in room for shower and washing machine

Stayed for a stag do in the penthouse. Great location and great views from the balcony. Really well laid out for eating and chilling. Highly recommend staying here
