nice hotel

Posted 30-Jun-2014
Pros: clean and tidy
Cons: staff better trained,
Location: nightlife good, cinema lose and shops, resturants surrounding, the society next door food and drink really fantastic and prices.
staff friendly, lack off information on dine and stay, asked how much avalible on evening meal was told any thing on menu then came back 10 mins later and said it was only to the value to £15 each, although we had chosen our meal and was over limit so had to rethink,my wife ordered the kng prawn dish, over £6.00,eat one, but when went 2 eat another one, she noticed the poo sack, had not been removed, put her off it, complained, staff member game bck, 10mins later and said, the prawns ur bought in like that, and chef has taken them off, isn't it the chef responabltiy two check food before it goes on the plate, plus her peppercorn sauce was like soup, weve been 2 a lot of resturants & my wife always gets peppercorn sauce, the society bar next door was £1.95 and fantastic & there steak chips and peas for £5 was amazing, the staff did offer us a couple of glasses of free wine, but we were going 2 the cinema, so he took the bottle of wine of our bill, sorry was few and far between through out, breakfast was cold, fat was going hard on plate, looked nice, but cold, this was the first time in 3yrs, weve been away without our kids, we always went 2 the best western, bck then, but we thought wed try something new, we were very disappointed, the hotel was clean and tidy, no faults there, a little bit off warmth goes a long way.

Great central hotel but a little noisy at night.

Posted 23-Jun-2014
Pros: The location and standard of the room.
Cons: Although there is triple and secondary glazing, it is still really noisy at night.
Arrived at 3.30pm to check in, unfortunately a large group had arrived just ahead of us and as the self check in was not working, we had no option but to wait 10 minutes to be checked in. The room (203) was small but well laid out, extremely clean and functional. The hotel has a great location, we were staying to attend a concert at the Hydro which was a pleasant 25 minute walk away. However, the great location did mean it was very noisy at night time. Overall, it was a good stay.

Excellent hotel

Posted 03-Jun-2014
Pros: Proximity to shopping and pubs and restaurants.
Cons: Entry upstairs from the street with 2 sets of heavy doors prior to reception was a bit difficult with luggage.
Location: Location was great for our one day stay. Good feel for Glasgow city. Very close to shopping plazas and mall streets, short walk to bridge across river
The staff at the Park Inn by Radisson were extremely helpful and great to deal with. Took our bags early and then allowed us to enter room early as it was ready. Great directions with a town map. Within walking distance to all the major shopping malls and plazas. Very good pre-booked breakfast. Very well appointed. Room a little small but everything you needed and a good sized bathroom. Particular mention for Laura who went out of her way to help us. Would recommend this hotel.
