Great city centre spot

Posted 02-Mar-2015
Booked this last minute, I usually stay at the Hilton,Marriott or Jury's but would definitely come back here, perfect city centre spot, no taxis required to get back and forth to train/bus stations and shopping, eating, entertainment on the doorstep. Staff were super friendly and helpful, even by Glasgow standards.

Excellent

Amazing hotel, right in the city centre. Room was beautiful. Only downside was the room was quite cold, I couldn't get the heater to come on. I spoke to reception twice about it but still didn't get fixed. Room was quite big and was on the corner so had lots of windows, that contributed to the cold. The bathroom was like a walk in freezer (girl on reception said "yes there is no heating in the bathroom"). But it is February in Scotland so I guess that didn't help. Other than than the hotel was great. Couple of things to note... There's no parking at the hotel (tho you can park in the street for free between 6pm-8am) and there are a lot of stairs at the front door of the hotel, but I would stay again.

Very clean hotel the quickest check in by far at any hotel I have stayed at. Room was very clean and really big compared to others in the area. Will be staying again.

nice hotel in good location.

Posted 05-Feb-2015
Pros: The staff were very helpful and the room was very comfortable.
Location: Very centrally situated and easy to get where I wanted to go.
I used this hotel as it was very convenient for my visit to the Emirates Stadium. I do not have a car and it was easy to use buses from Buchanan street bus station.

It is the heart of my home city Glasgow.

Posted 14-Dec-2014
Pros: It was modern but placed in an old building, very tastefully done.
Cons: did not see anything
Location: Well it is in the center of Glasgow near the shops, train station bars and clubs.
I had never heard of this place, It was lovely. The stairs at the front were steep. Did not have any food. As i was going out to works diner. The room had coffee and tea, hairdryer iron and the ironing board. I will be staying there again.

Great hotel great room excellent breakfast . Downside free wifi. Only 1 device per room. Most people now have at least 2 devices. Please note other hotels in glasgow offer free wifi on multiple devices! Main light in room did not work reported but never got fixed?

Central Glasgow hotel

Posted 01-Dec-2014
Pros: Convenient, comfortable, great staff
Cons: Self check-in, hate them! Cold breakfast - heat the plates!!!
Location: Great for the SECC and the Hydro (two stops on the low line train from Central Station). Fabulous for sightseeing or shopping.
Very convenient hotel in the centre of Glasgow only a short walk from Queens St station. Very comfortable room, easy to adjust heating control, but still had a window that can be opened. Only downside was the breakfast was cold by the time you had selected what you required and taken it back to your table. Heated plates would solve this, food wad good, but cold.
