Even lenny henry would stay here

Posted 25-Apr-2015
We arrived very late after a stressful time with a faulty car experience. Our room was reserved and check-in was smooth and unfussy. No help with suitcases offered as only one night- receptionist - No room service. Used champagne cork under the room desk missed by housekeeping. Comfy bed ok. Room wall adjacent to lift doors made a seal-like noise when door opened. Breakfast was faultless - excellent!. Superb location for shopping; eating out.

Nice hotel with many shops and restaurants nearby

Posted 15-Mar-2015
Very friendly staff. We travelled with our 7 month old daughter and staff were very helpful. The car park lift was out of order which meant that we had to carry some of our luggage around the outside to access the hotel. Staff were very apologetic and didn't charge us for parking. I would definitely recommend staying here. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Weekend shopping in Glasgow

Posted 05-Mar-2015
Pros: Friendly efficient & very helpful staff who are very knowledgeable of the surrounding area re restaurants etc. Nice bar area - Imacs kept kids happy.
Cons: Rather strange link up with local taxi firm - not guaranteed to turn up at time booked which reflects badly on hotel (people missing trains etc)
Location: City Centre shopping, pubs & restaurants, cinema, theatres.
My family and I booked this hotel as we were spending the weekend in Glasgow. On arrival, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We were too early to check in but took our bags in order that we could start our day's shopping early . Once we returned to the hotel the check in was quick and efficient and again the staff were very helpful. The hotel itself is near enough to the city centre to be close to the shops / restaurants etc but is far enough out to be away from any outside noise (although someone who clearly thought they were racing in the British Grand Prix at 2am going round and round the hotel didn't help but then again the hotel itself can't be held accountable for what goes on outside). We had a family room for 4 which was 2 double beds. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with separate toilet and shower rooms this makes a difference for 4 people getting ready to go out at same time.

Nice hotel outside busy area

Posted 16-Feb-2015
We were greeted nicely by staff but had to wait a while for a drink at the bar as there was no staff. Room ok but not worth the money, expected a bit more for the price. Even went for the more expensive room to impress but wasn't worth it.

Pros: Location and on site parking
Clean, friendly and located perfectly! On site parking (although limited) was a real bonus.

Posted 28-Jan-2015
Pros: A good nights sleep, a good base for exploring the city.
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: Close to city centre and sauchiehall street. handy for theatres and concert hall
Stay here every year more or less and never disappointed. Comfortable, clean, quiet. What more do you want?

Good For The Price

Posted 21-Jan-2015 on Hotels.com
For the price we paid it was great, but not worth the rack rate. Bed's too soft and toilet tiny.
