Nice B&B just outside of Glasgow

Posted 02-Jun-2014
Pros: Loved the charming bedroom sets
We stayed here for 2 nights. Lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful. Ordered a cab for us to meet with our day tour, gave recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Awesome cooked breakfast ready! Or if you have an early tour to meet with they'll set up a breakfast tray for you. Located just outside of Glasgow, park nearby for walking. Short cab ride to the city centre. Overall a very nice, clean stay with very hospitable hosts.

Pros: Comfortable bed in a spacious room with character. Very good breakfast and lovely hosts. Also easy parking.
A very good location for ease of access into the city or to visit students at the Uni. as we were doing. We had a quite night and a good breakfast. The hosts were attentive and informative.

Perfect spot for a family of six

Posted 28-May-2014
Pros: Small, clean, personable hosts, breakfast, location, quiet
Location: Kelvington Art museum Glasgow University and walk along river within the grounds
The Manor Park Guesthouse was a great place for our family of six to stay. We booked 2 rooms , each room had extremely comfy beds and bedding. Showers were great and we loved the lemongrass soap supplied. Breakfast was delicious with endless choices. Our hosts could not have made us feel more at home. We were Canadians traveling to Scotland for the first time and our hosts gave us tons of information regarding sights to see and do. They also directed us to a quaint pub for supper. Thank you!

Pleasant guest house in quiet street.

Pros: Owner!
Cons: The pillows!
Location: The West end which is great.
Enjoyed our stay very much. Only a 5 minute walk from The Cabin where we had a great meal and you can take your own wine! My only gripe was the pillows which for me were really awful, but they may be ok for others, I'm very fussy with them and normally carry my own if I can. Great b and b for the price though.

Great hosts and breakfast.

Chose this B&B because it's close to the airport. However, trade off is it was a good half hour walk to town center. The hosts are great as we're the breakfasts. After travelling around Scotland, returned here for last night before departing to the airport.
