“How can HDV be a 2?”

We love One Devinshire Gardens. Been a few times when visiting family in Glasgow. Elegant old buildings with tons of character. In places a lick of pain would no hurt but so much character. Our service has always been perfect. It is an expensive hotel but I've always felt it's fair for the experience. I feel almost sorry that others have not had the greatest time. I'd stay there any day of the week!

“A bit disappointed”

Hotel rather dark, plumbing quite noisy, toilet flush inadequate, front facing room very noisy with passing traffic. Welcome and service first class, indeed faultless. Breakfast one of the best.

“Would like to stay for longer”

We just stayed for one night as we travelling further afield, but we would have loved to stay for longer. The hotel is set in a grand old house in Glasgow's west end, which we found a good location. Its within walking distance to the botanic gardens among other things. One thing that could be improved is the road signage for how to reach the hotel by car. We enjoyed the spacious room and the comfortable bed and had a delicious meal in the restuarant. My wife had a facial in the spa in the morning and was very impressed with their service too.
