Brilliant Stay

Posted 04-Sep-2014
We are spoiled by gratitude and friendliness of such a trained staff. It made our stay even nicer. Executive suits are recommended as u can access executive lounge and it's a plus. Enjoyed our stay at Hilton Glasgow n would recommend to every one.

Excellent

Posted 26-Aug-2014
Pros: As above.
Cons: Move it a bit closer to the centre, but it wasn't a problem.
Location: Location was fine. Plenty to do as Glasgow city centre close enough.
Having managed to offload the kids for the weekend, we stayed at the Hilton. In short, it's what you'd expect. Room was spacious and well kept. Staff were friendly. Excellent breakfast.

One night stay in Glasgow.

Posted 19-Aug-2014
Pros: Nice clean room and bathroom. Helpful staff throughout our stay.Good food.
Cons: Where we were concerned, nothing needed to be improved!
Location: The location excellent as it's within easy walking distance of the centre and has easy access to all roads.
A most enjoyable stay with helpful and attentive staff especially Manny Baber and Gemma on restaurant desk with some nice personal touches. A great base for exploring Glasgow especially when you don't need to use your car and you know it is safely parked nearby. Also a lovely room to go back to after walking around most of the day! The day was finished off with a lovely meal in the Morblas restaurant and a wonderful breakfast before we departed. We will definately use this hotel again when next in Glasgow.

Mr & Mrs JD

Terrible location beside the motorway and dreadful if your walking back after dark as there are no lights on the street outside. Parking is very expensive at £20 / Night in hotel car park.

As expected of a Hilton

Posted 15-Aug-2014
Pros: Clean, functional, professional.
It's a Hilton and you get what you expect. Professional staff, clean rooms etc. Hotel is in good condition and has a nice bar. It also has a restaurant, but it was very pricey so we didn't try it. The main drawback is the location. It is actually pretty central (near freeway, 10min from Glasgow Central train station), but the neighborhood is not very attractive. Not unsafe, just unattractive. If you walk from the train station, you approach the hotel from the back - around the loading dock and through service tunnel that could be a but creepy at night.

Hotel OK

Posted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: Very nice room. Comfortable bed. We were on our honeymoon, and champagne was delivered to our room. Nice touch!
Hotel was very nice. Sections that could use improving: Bathtub didn't drain when showering due to mass amounts of hair in drain. Hot tub had much dirt/gravel on the floor of it. Restaurant was not worth the cost. Food was good, service was not 5 star. We were forgot about in the lobby. The food took forever. Waitress came and apologized and said she was going to bring us bread. Bread never showed up. Food quality was very good though.

Usual Hilton high standards, apart from bed!!

Posted 16-Jul-2014
Pros: Location, car park, great staff, spotless rooms, soundproof, fitness centre.
Cons: MATTRESS!!
Location: Convenient for theatres, short enough walk into city centre.
We have stayed here a few times and have always had an excellent experience. This time no different - easy parking, excellent staff, spotless guest areas and room, great fitness centre and the best breakfast in town - but this time someone seemed to have replaced the previously dreamy mattress with a slab of stone. Didn't lie on the bed until arriving back from a night out and had it been earlier in the evening would have requested a room change. The most uncomfortable nights sleep in an otherwise excellent hotel.

Nice hotel, convenient to airport.

Very good value for booking through Expedia quite far in advance. Attractive, clean room on 9th floor. Food expensive, especially with exchange rate on Canadian dollar, but tasty and service was excellent.

Girls Spa day

Posted 09-Jul-2014
Cons: Only thing I was very annoyed about was that I was informed that because I booked our accommodation via a 3rd party ie Expedia, I would not get any Hi
Location: Centrally located for Hydo, Glasgow city restaurants and pubs. In fact what is it not near.
Great central hotel. I've stayed there before and always found staff and facilities excellent. We stayed in a 2 bedded room which was very comfortable and spacious for 3 'mature' ladies on a spa break. Leisure facilities also very good.
