Beautiful luxury hotel in a magnificent location.

Posted 01-Dec-2014
Lovely relaxing stay in magnificent surroundings. Room excellent. Leasure facilities really good: two big pools with water slide sauna etc. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Only downside: meals and booze very expensive. Excellent quality, but be prepared to pay top dollar.

Beautifully situated in the edge of the Loch

Posted 01-Dec-2014
Pros: The real log fires throughout the hotel were a welcome joy in a cold misty November.
From arrival we were greeted by courteous staff, which continued throughout our stay. The room was superb and extremely comfortable and clean. We ate in the evening at the boathouse which was an excellent choice and were able to take advantage of the hotels car service to and fro to avoid the rain ! In the morning the sun rising over the Loch was visible from our room which was a splendid bonus. Breakfast was faultless with a menu to cater for everyone. A totally enjoyable stay.

Relaxing birthday weekend

Posted 24-Nov-2014
Pros: Loved the leisure facilities and the relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great for walking, retail therapy, eating and drinking, sports, chilling out
This stay was a birthday treat for my hard working partner but was just as much a treat for me. The facilities were excellent and the staff were all friendly and courteous. The swimming pool is the best I have been in and rekindling our game of table tennis was an unexpected bonus. The local walking is excellent with splendid views and there is a fine choice of local hostelries.

Luxurious and relaxing break.

Posted 20-Nov-2014
Just back from a very relaxing break at Cameron House Hotel. Gorgeous location. Our only complaint would be that the service in the bar area was a little bit slow. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Quality hotel in peaceful surroundings

Posted 25-Oct-2014
Pros: Executive rooms, large bathroom, beautiful views & valet parking
Cons: Check in time is 3pm which I think is very late especially when check out is 11am! That's got to be improved.
Location: Tranquil location bringing peace, Spa not far from hotel
I've been to CameronHouse many times, it's beautiful, quality hotel in a peaceful, stunning location. I had executive room & it was well worth the extra cost. Room was gorgeous & large. Bathroom was large which I like as a lot of hotels have ridiculously small bathrooms. Decor is stunning. Room service menu wasn't huge but it was enough. No mini bar but there was a fridge. Spa is a few miles up the road & is gorgeous but very expensive. Gorgeous, tranquil location, will return.

Great location, plenty of things to do.

Posted 22-Oct-2014
Pros: All the staff are very professional and welcoming. Valet parking. Whiskey bar staff are friendly and keen to pass on their knowledge.
Location: Perfect location for sightseeing, Very handy for the airport and for visiting Glasgow. Seaplanes flights over the loch can be taken from the ground
This was our second visit to this hotel and tried the Cameron Grill and Boathouse restaurants, although we enjoyed dining at the Boathouse the walk down to it was very dark with no lighting for pedestrians.
