We spent a very comfortable night at this hotel. It is right in the old town and was. Ideally located for the Bernina Express early in the morning. Breakfast was very good.

I thought it was a hotel ….no private toilet or shower , no towels or wash cloths, unfriendly welcome …basically let ourself in…the only good thing was a somewhat decent breakfast. For tge price it was a horrible “hotel”?

It is a wonderful hotel with an incredible staff. Anna was beyond amazing and accommodating during our stay. She even helped give us directions and suggestions before we even arrived. The breakfast was perfect and had a lot of variety, and she even offered delicious, fresh, personalized coffee. The room was clean, and there was a cozy balcony where you could see mountains in the distance. We were able to walk to the train station in about 10 minutes, but there is also a bus that you can take even closer. There were restaurants next door and all along a cobblestone street. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again if we travel to Europe. The most friendly and helpful staff we have found on our European trip so far.

LOVED our stay here! Room was super clean & so was shared bathroom. Located 7 minutes from train station so location could not be beat. Area was safe. Breakfast was included & was excellent as well. Highly recommend. *only drawback were the pillows—too fluffy & didn’t support neck.

Was a great location in the old town. The staff were exceptional! They washed a couple pieces of clothing for us. They had a great breakfast that was included!

Two nights in Chur
Very interesting experience!! To check in, you must walk through the restaurant rolling your luggage and sign in through a window in the kitchen. Alert - the is NO lift so luggage must be carried up multiple flights of stairs. The room was spacious, clean, and very adequate. However, the bed is approximately 6” off the floor and very difficult to get up from if you have any mobility issues. The restaurant is excellent and the waitresses are extremely helpful and friendly. The location is very good for wandering through Old Town area.

This was a great centrally located hotel. I didn't love how hot it got at night and the bathroom on the top floor was like a closet without a sink. But the people working there were super nice.

I loved the included breakfast! In a country like Switzerland, everything is expensive, so getting a lovely breakfast included was amazing. The location was perfect- 10 min walk from the train station and in old town. The restaurant was great too- lots of traditional dishes, and great fondue! A benefit of being in the walkable downtown, less road noises and really close to hiking trails.

We had to carry 23Kg luggage up five floors because there is no lift. I am 75 years old and it was difficult. There was no mention of not having a lift in the info on this hotel - unless I missed it.

There is no air conditioning in this hotel even though the description says that it does. We had to sleep with the windows open. There was no fan available. The area below is very loud. We heard the bars below our room until midnight. Then all night there were street cleaners…etc. Got very little sleep. I do not recommend this hotel if there is any chance at all of having hot weather.

If it wasn't for previous reviews, I wouldn't have been able to confidently locate where hotel guests needed to check in because the front of the hotel and its main floor is the restaurant. As a tip for those reading, you can either enter through the front (restaurant) door and head straight through to the back past a wooden door to find the counter, or curve around the side of the building to find their back door which passes their kitchen to the counter. The hostesses who helped us check in and served us coffee for breakfast in the morning were very welcoming. The room was quite spacious (with a desk and wardrobe) and the bathroom was equipped with a full tub (which was rare for us to see in Europe unless you're staying in a 5-star hotel). It does stay fairly noisy in the evening due to the nearby bars and the restaurant on the main floor, but the noise was at a level that we easily slept through, and the noise was non-existent after the restaurant closed. Overall, would stay here again!

Great multi-lingual service
Lovely hotel in the old city. Easy access to everything, great staff. Breakfast provided was nice. We had the comfort double room with the bathroom. Worth checking whether the room has the amenities.

Very friendly staff. Not too far from train station. A little dated but immaculate. We had twin beds, comfortable. Nice breakfast. No air conditioning, had to open window which would have been fine but window right above restaurant with people smoking and talking until 11:00 at night. Loud and stinky. Otherwise would have been great.

Good location very central to the old town. The room was very clean and comfortable but we were on 4th floor with no lift! Advantage of roof being next to the terrace though. Good breakfast.

A new experience!
Most of the rooms share bathroom! Very clean. We had a sink in our room. It was only one night for us. That was ok! Location is great but the people in a bar chatted and shouted until 2 in the morning!
