“OK”

If you want to be near Barcelona but visit other places too then this hotel might be a good choice, as it's near a busy railway station from which you can go to Barcelona, Girona, Figueres. (To go NW to Vic etc. then you need the other station in Granollers). Granollers has a nice centre but is otherwise nothing to write home about. The hotel is OK - it's a pretty standard, clean, medium-sized 4 star, with helpful staff and serving decent food, but it's not special. The surroundings aren't great although, as I went with a family, we appreciated the (municipal) childrens playground outside the main entrance, but it's seen better days. For the 3 of us we got two single beds which, when pushed together, gave us a large double - but it was made up as two singles. The room had a tiny kitchenette which was very useful, especially as being with a small child it limited the extent to which we wanted to eat in restaurants.

“Need to update rooms and get better matresses”

Hi, The lobby, breakfast and staff were amazing. But then the room was disappointing all except for the bathroom. Bathroom was nice, large and clean except for the ceiling which was cork board. The carpet was soiled and the matress had a huge sagging hole which messed up my back. If the hotel updated the matresses and carpet alone its ratings would go up to a 4 or 5.

I had a really comfortable stay at the hotel and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I will certainly be going back to stay at this hotel on my next visit to barcelona.

“Very impressed with this hotel”

This is probably the best holiday hotel we have ever been to. It's easy to find - from Granollers Centro train station, walk down the Passeg de Colom (opposite the station) - the hotel is on the right-hand side and has a sandy area with a basketball net outside it (takes about 5 minutes from the station). The hotel is immaculate and the staff are exceedingly helpful and polite. The breakfast offering was super - lots of choice and everything very fresh. We also ate dinner twice at the hotel, and the food was lovely and very reasonably priced. The only suggestion I'd make regarding the hotel is to ask for a room at the opposite side from the basketball area that is at the front of the hotel, as local children sometimes play until the early hours of the morning and it can be disturbing. It's only a 40-minute train journey from Granollers to Barcelona, and the trains run every 30 minutes. They are inexpensive, clean and air-conditioned, and the journey is very pleasant. Granollers itself is lovely. We would highly recommend a restaurant called KIKO which has lovely tapas and really nice staff.

Very nice hotel. Don't be put off that is outside Barcelona itself, the train that is half hourly takes you straight into the centre of Barcelona! Granollers itself is very nice and i am glad we got to visit not just Barcelona but this town as well. 5 minutes walk is "Little Square" that has 3 great cafes. Hotel could nit have been nicer, a quick copy of your passport, room key given and thats all they ask of you. Reception staff very helpful with regards to train times and zones etc. All in all highly recommended!

hotel was very clean, welcoming, excellent service, nice town. was situated far from barcellona, but the granollers central train station RENFE was only a 5 min walk away. really enjoyed my stay there and would definitely recommend

“Would use this hotel again”

Although the hotel is outside Barcelona it has a good rail link to the city centre and very cheap. We found out that the rail station has a direct service to Barcelona airport We used the hotel restaurant that provided very good service and good value, well presented food.We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel.

Muy buena atención, el desayuno buffet incluido fue bueno, por el precio estuvo genial. La habitación es de tamaño generoso y esta muy cerca de le estación de trenes para ir a Barcelona. Excelente opción!

“Eine Woche Barcelona und Umgebung”

Barcelona ist per Zug gut zu erreichen. Bahnhof in ca 500m Entfernung. Hotel liegt ruhig. Man freut sich nach einem hektischen Tag in der doch lauten aber sehr schönen Stadt Barcelona an diesen ruhigen Ort zurüchzukommen. Guter Ausgangspunkt auch für die Costa Brava. Die Zimmer sind funktional ausgestattet und haben eine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und gut. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten in Hoteleigener Tiefgarage.
