“Disappointing”

Before I arrived I requested a couple of robs so I would not have to pack mine. There was none. When I arrived the front desk clerk could not find my reservation and when I said I had been in contact with the guest services manager I was told 'Oh, she probably forgot to make the reservation' I know no business where it is ok to speak about one's boss to the public that way. The second day while we were out the room was cleaned... I mean tidied. The bed was made but the bathroom sink still had toothpaste in it so it hadn't even been rinsed nor were the garbage cans emptied. The Movies on the TV did not work and the front desk staff told me the maintenance staff had gone home so they could not help me. the room itself was cut up by walls that kept the sofa away from the bed area with the heater/air conditioner in one room it didn't reach the others. The bed was comfortable and if you want NOTHING but a good sleep go elsewhere.

Area recommendations

Be warned... every Tim Horton's in Grande Prairie has a line up out the door as well as a drive through line literally out and around the block.

“Great night sleep.”

Check in was slow and they gave me a room that someone was staying in already, even though the gentleman in front of me just came back from the same problem. Once checked in though the room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellencies well.

“Smelly feet”

As soon as we walked into the room, there was a smell of dirty feet from the previous occupant. We opened the window hoping it would disappear, it did not. We called the front desk and asked for some spray material to remove the smell, he said he was alone and there was no one in maintenance during the week-end and he had no spray. We asked him again to do something about it while we were away for a couple of hours. When we came back there was no change and we asked him to come up. When he walked into the room he said it is not so bad... Last time for that hotel!

“Solid experience”

Room size was tight for two doubles, hotel clean and well maintained. A little pricey but I don't mind paying a little more for clean and not run down.

“Very Comfortable Hotel”

I was very pleased with my accomadations and will stay there again if I go back. There was a very good breakfast that was included in the price. The bed was very comfortable and the room I had was very quiet.

“mixture of new and old but nice”

the hotel have one down which is the high radiation older TV, the complimentary breakfast in the rest is really good and the overall condition of the hotel is not bad, staff are friendly and helpful, we got in late and children wanted to swim staff were really good.

“Will stay at other Best Westerns”

The first room the heater didn't work, but they moved us right away. The second room was perfect. The bed/pillows and quilt were the best I've had.

“Just fine”

Good location close to shopping and restaurants. Clean rooms. My husband thought the TV was old, but I was fine with it.
