“Not impressed”

Our comforter had a huge burn hole in it and the smoke detector had been pried open. The phone didn't work, the service guy did get it working fairly quickly. The other phone was sticky and the hang up button was stuck down so you couldn't get a dial tone. The toilet would leak all over the floor every time you flushed it. Not impressed. Service was good.

“Convenience”

Our stay was only for a single night. Our accommodations were very good. Our only complaint was the excessive noise from the group above our room--well into the wee hours of the morning---3-4 AM. My wife and I were both awakened multiple times during the night..

“Great access to the downtown without the downtown $$$”

Great location with easy access to the downtown. Front desk was very helpful in getting us a cab and directions when needed.

“hair on the door”

the lobby was clean and bright. The restauant was good. The food was great and the service was fine. The carpet in the hallway to the room was old and not appealing and the place generally had an unpleasant musty smell. Ther were hairs in the tub and on the back of the bathroom door. The bed was not comfprtable and the pillows were not comfortable.

“Good service”

Overall the room was serviceable--not quite as upscale as other Radisson's that I have stayed at. My guess from the design of the building is that it was a lower-scale building that Radison bought and remodeled. However, the room was clean and comfortable. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very attentive to my needs--I give them 5 stars. In addition, the restaurant served good fare, reasonably priced--a very pleasant departure from the usually overpriced hotel meals. A car is a must, as there are no stores or restaurants within walking distance. However, downtown Grand Rapids is an easy 10 minutes away.

“awful, old and dirty”

we chose this hotel because it was convenient however it smelled like mold and it was old and dirty def would not recommend or stay there again.

“Seger”

Great value hotel and good location. The GR Hopper will take you downtown and all around for only $5. We went for the Bob Seger concert and it worked out perfectly! Great room and service. Very pleased and will definitely stay there again for any downtown GR event.

“Will visit again.”

Check in was very easy, everyone at the hotel was very friendly. Room was very neat and clean. The hotel had no problem with us having a late check-out. The bar in the hotel was a lot of fun, live music, friendly staff, and good drink specials
