Nice average price hotel

Posted 02-Oct-2014
Three of us stayed one night while traveling through the area. Room was a little small but clean and quiet. The included breakfast had warm food which I would describe as home style the staff was all very nice. There was room to park an rv in the parking are. The hotel is very close to I 70

It worked

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Cons: More comfortable lounge chairs at the pool.
Location: Colorado National Monument should not be missed. Rafting on the Colorado is also a blast.
I reserved the room over two months in advance (as soon as I received an invitation to a wedding in Grand Junction) and was given a ground floor room (noisy people above us) near the laundry room. That was disappointing. Also, even though it was non-smoking, there was definitely the old, stale smoke smell in the hall and room. Bed was comfortable and staff was friendly. Breakfast was hot and free but nothing to write home about. Overall, we got what we paid for and would stay there again.

Nan, I do hope that you will stay with us again. We have been all non-smoking for about a decade. But for some reason there are a few people out there that insist on breaking the rules. We even charge a $200 cleaning fee if someone smokes in a room. It even say so on the registration card. And we point it out when people check in. But some people still must break the rules. I am really sorry if you experienced that. It does not happen very often. But it does happen. Please do come back and stay with us again. Sincerely, Rick Martindale General Manager Quality Inn

Conveniently located

Overall good experience. Only thing bothered us is the walking noise from upstairs. I don't think this hotel is built well.

The hotel is well built. But some people make a little more noise when they walk than others do. Please come back and stay with us again. Sincerely, Rick Martindale General Manager Quality Inn

Nice bed and clean room with view of golf course. Bathroom is terribly small and outdated.

Nice hotel close to restaurants and services

Posted 20-Sep-2014
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable with a microwave and small refrigerator. Air Conditioner was quiet and put out plenty of cold air.
Cons: The hotel is old and the decor of the facility was very outdated. Elevator was convenient but very slow. Remodeling would improve first impressions.
Location: Location is close to the I-15 access ramp making the hotel easy to find. There are fast food restaurants within walking distance.
We made online reservations for our room and everything was ready when we arrived. The staff at the service desk were very helpful and got us checked in quickly and efficiently. There was an elevator near the service desk that made it easy to get our luggage up to the 3rd floor.

Good Stopover

Posted 20-Sep-2014
Pros: It was a good, clean, quiet and comfortable room to sleep in and get ready for the next day's travel adventures.
Cons: It's old and could use some cosmetic refurbishing.
Location: Not many food choices. Surprisingly, the Denny's restaurant was very well run and served us an excellent breakfast. (We usually avoid Denny's)
This hotel is a good choice for an overnight in Grand Junction. Nothing "cringe-worthy" or fancy about it. It was a good, clean, quiet and comfortable room to sleep and be ready for the next day's travel adventures. We got a decent price through Expedia.

reservations: My email did not contain my reservation name. When I checked in the clerk could not locate my reservation. When she finally found it....my name was completely misspelled. I suggest you put the name of the reservation in the body of the confirmation email.

I am sorry if there was a problem with your reservation. If there was a misspeliing or a reservation error that would be an Expedia issue. We do not have any control over things like that. Please come back and stay with us again. I think those kind of errors are pretty rare. Thanks Rick Martindale General Manager Quality Inn

Pro: I was pleased with the Hotel. Clean room, clean sheets ... better than I had expected from the pictures. Con: Having said that, we had a room that was very loud. You could hear a lot of noise outside, from ventilators running, people walking/running in the floors above us. So even though we were very tired (from being on a road trip for hours) I had a hard time falling and staying asleep.
