“Great stay on Grand cayman”
Clean, great kitchen, grocery store nearby! I would stay there again
“Very comfortable”
I love staying in condos because it's like having all the comforts of home. The full kitchens allows you to make your own meals or at the very least fill the fridge with drinks to help save some money. The condo we stayed in was very comfortable and on the third floor. Nice ocean view. The snorkeling in front of the condo is not that great but ok if you go beyond the confines of the enclosure. Walk down the beach to enjoy beautiful Carribean water. The location of this condo is good with a lot in walking distance. You'll need to ignore the hotel in front which isn't very up scale. It's not a 5 star environment but great for the money.
“Affordable family accomodations with great snorkeling cove”
We stayed at Treasure Island condos the week of July 6, 2010. Our condo was a poolside 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with a view of the ocean from the deck. Understand we were in the condos--not the hotel. The condo was comfortable and well equiped for cooking, if we chose to do that. It was about 1/2 mile from a Kirk's grocery store. It worked out well for us to have breakfast, sodas and snacks in the condo. There is a liquor store and bakery in the shopping center right next door. Housekeeping brought clean towels everyday, and changed sheets every 3rd day. The unit also had a washer/dryer, which was handy! We spent a little time each day at the snorkeling cove right in front of the TI condos and most times we were the only ones out there! (Not sure why people would go all the way to Grand Cayman to sit by the pool, but the pools were usually crowded.) The poolside bar and grill is okay, but slow. Cimboco is a nice cafe close by, affordable by Cayman standards, for brunch, lunch, or a casual dinner. City buses run Monday-Sat. pretty much all day and evening for about $2.00 per person and will take you anywhere you want to go, so getting to other beaches, snorkeling spots, restaurants, or shops is easy. Be aware that everything, except restaurants, close on Sunday, and all shops (except the grocery store) close at 5 pm everyday!
“Nice Location, Needs Updating”
The location was great, the staff at Billy Bones was lovely. The beach was a bit rocky, but better to the right of the condo. The condos were large enough and well stocked with kitchen items, but the place does need updating (painting, etc) and a good dose of good old fashion cleaning.
“Loved Grand Cayman”
The condo was clean. Nice ocean view. Office manager was very helpful. Sunsets beautiful. Snorkeling decent at condo, but better up the coast. Do not miss snorkel city; amazing. Skip the Turtle Farm. Grand Cayman was a fabulous trip.
